I draw graphs / concepts on my window with expo marker, then take a picture, review later.

All the time.

Never really liked any of the apps.
Lol now I want a giant whiteboard the size of my one of my office walls… Thanks for the project

Hopefully I get some more portable options too. Lol thanks brother!

Republicans now “don’t believe in electric cars”
This obviously cuts into the petrodollars.... I for one, am all for electric vehicles because it will enable half of the undeveloped world to stop being bitched and pawned around by Saudi and the usA and their goddamn petrodollars that silence all the atrocities that are being committed in the M.E (from my times there)... Most republicans are on the board of directors at exxon, conoco, devon energy chesapeake etc etc so umm yeaaa no wonder....

Lol now I want a giant whiteboard the size of my one of my office walls
Im telling you K you will not regret it one bit. I use mine multiple times per day. IT IS MUST HAVE

Has anyone here ever owned a Hummer H1?

If so, are they a reliable or come with a bunch of issue?
well, i drove one back when i was in the service, and they are good and bad lol. You could find one for cheap (5-15K depending on condition) at a US government military auction (i would check in the southeast Fort bragg area or fort sumter only because there will be no rust etc) and they will all be diesel (but those deisel engines are not that great) Maybe swap it out for a cummins 5.9 12valve or 24 valve (much worth the investment) and if you get one 30 years older then no import duty to poland.

This will be a bit of a project unless you get one already worked out but that will cost you anywhere from 40k to 75k (def not worth it at these prices)

you never know though with gas and diesel being stupid high some people may not want these toys anymore. With that being said to answer your latter question, they are good for offroading (depends on how crazy you want to go , you may want to beef up the suspension and shocks and all) but if you can nab one at auction prices why not?

Old school Hummer would be sweeeeeet. That was the first car I remember having a crush on as a kid. Don't like the generations after the original though.

When I think of a lifestyle business I don't think of your example so it's just ignorance on my part, not trying to say my opinion isn't debatable. There's definitely a lot of money in deal-making (Jay Abraham made millions this way) and you're correct that in this case marketing isn't that needed if you're capable of using other people's resources.
I've always been the lazy guy who refuses to reinvent the wheel for himself and uses other people's resources, so this is exactly my style.

I have always wanted a shower whiteboard. Because, as the internet knows, all great ideas happen in the shower.

I'm with you. Scribbles on paper, whiteboard, or a flipchart are much more fun.

I wanted a whole perspex wall in the playroom/home office a while back but my wife put her foot down.

I never thought of using a window before. The kids are gonna love this tomorrow, and my wife is gonna kill me...

I really want to get one at one stage. Looks super fun to take off road or drive in some heavy snow.
My poker buddy had one and these are his tips:
Avoid 2004 H1s at all cost (fatal computer issues)
Avoid 6.5 turbo (block failure)
Avoid any military variants (bad interior)
Make sure CTIS works before buying (if it doesn't work, assume owner does not invest in proper maintenance)

Pray and hope that previous owner did all maintenance especially cooling system

Worst case, imagine that you are buying an old Defender (budget accordingly)

If in doubt, get a Land Cruiser or FJ instead

My aunt and uncle had an H2, and it was massive. Can't imagine driving an H1. The H3 is a baby.

My dude, get a bucket of dry erase paint and cover a wall!

The Onion couldn't make up this story if it tried:

Guy is a commonwealth prosecuting attorney for two counties in Kentucky, married, has one kid

Guy has affair with a female probation officer

While prosecuting a drug-related case, guy begins having sex with the defendant in the case, whom he met through the probation officer whom he was also having an affair with

Meanwhile, guy begins affair with an alternate juror on a separate murder case as soon as the alternate juror is dismissed from the jury.

Guy impregnates the defendant in the original case

Pregnant defendant tells guy's wife about the affair

Guy tries to take back the pre-trial deal he had made with the defendant (prior to the affair)

New prosecuter gets assigned, investigation begins, investigation ends with no punishment or consequences

All of this happens in 2013/2014

Now, 8 years later, guy is now running to be a circuit judge in Kentucky...

WTF :wideyed:

Not as bad as allegedly sexually assaulting 25 women and only getting a slap on the wrist, just because you can run and throw a football.

Am I the only one who sees super old threads I've read and liked years ago and my likes are gone?

This would only happen on a software change, but that has not happened in years. Perhaps 6 or more.

You know things are bad when England is the voice of reason

Just got off a consulting call for my ads suggesting I use Performance Max campaigns, are they not ethical?
I don't know why they're using the word "ethical". What are they trying to ask.

Are the easy to use? Do you trust them? Do you like them?

It just seemed odd.

Is anyone into “mind mapping” as a way of note taking? Any apps you like for it?

I’m intrigued about getting more organized like this.
I've used a few, Mindmap Notes is pretty good if you don't have a million nodes.

Mindmaster does much more complex things and is quite nice to use. I think it's also free if you don't use their cloud services.

Headed to defcon next week. Kept trying to think how to rig up a hack-box in a short time. Here's what I came up with...

- Raspberry Pi, because they're laying around
- Custom enclosure (I'm fabricating/bending from ABS sheet and polycarbonate)
- Portable tablet-style monitor from Amazon
- Mini mechanical keyboard
- Wired mouse, not getting hacked through bluetooth today, Satan
- All powered by my DeWalt 20v drill batteries (mount on/in chassis)
- Power is converted through cig-lighter style USB chargers
- Also expose some blank 12v car outlets, why not? Might want to power something else.
- Wall outlet AC-DC power converter included in case batteries should run out.

Well, if anyone happens to be there (different audience but you never know) and see me hacking on a jalopy computer, say hi

Had never heard of it until now, what is the point of it? I can get a good idea from the website.

Take some photo or video! That sounds super cool

Just when I’m on the verge of growing cynical about our society, I see an old woman smile and give up her seat for a pregnant man

Security, and things that are not as secure as we think they are!

That explains the wired mouse haha. That sounds super interesting, let us know how it goes? Have you gone before?
