Hi guys, i have had this website idea for a long time. The format/idea is similar to loopnet.com and bizbuysell.com. The idea will be to offer free services for users to upload information to each other then eventually charge a fee to use the service. The website can be life changing opportunities for other people, so it would be worth the money eventually if it was populated. What do you guys think about a strategy such as this. Many people say no one will pay a fee for a website anymore. I believe loopnet is free, not sure how well they do, but biz buy sell can be expensive to run an ad to sell 59.99-99.99. Do web owners make fake profiles in the beginning to start things rolling. I believe if a system was built that properly satisfied this specific niche market, they would all have no problem spending the money. Im pretty much new to websites so throw me under the bus right now about anything if you want, any opinions wanted, thank you.
