If you barely look away from the screen, it's easier to see her start spinning counter-clockwise. Then you can look directly at her again and she should be spinning the same direction.

I thought clockwise was the minority, but almost everybody her sees her turning that way.... or we all here are different than the majority out there?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing. I'll see if I can experiment by letting my dad try it. He seems to think like a counter-clockwise person. I'll let you all know the results.

This is a fun old trick. I wonder how much stubbornness affects one's ability to see it both ways. Very challenging at first, then easier as you go along.

That's crazy. Definitely clockwise.

Although, using someone's trick, if I look off to the side and just watch it peripherally, I can start to see her going counter-clockwise.

They may see it going one way, while at the same time, you see it going the opposite. :)
