I have some follow-up questions:
1. When would it not be necessary to get a patent. It was mentioned that most ppl applying shouldn't really get a patent.
2. If you prove the market before investing time and money into full production, and even patent, then as we discussed - the chinese market can reverse engineer and have a copycat product to market within days - not necessarily the 12-18 months that may have been true in the past. Wouldn't a patent be a good idea then?
I guess it's a which comes first - chicken or egg syndrome. Damned if you do and damned if you don't?
