I don't find it cringy personally. This thread is cringy.
On a positive note I think you've gotten good feedback. Start with a general intro and let people see the value you provide to people rather than pushing it onto them!
Good luck!
It looks like someone is super enthusiastic about something they've learned, it looks like they want to share it, and it looks like they don't realise they are *always* selling, even if money is not changing hands.
The subject line of our thread sells people on whether to open the thread or not.
The first sentence in our thread sells people on reading the next sentence.
What Esther is realising is that if she did have the formula to eternal youth then she still has to sell it to people.
She has to get their attention.
She has to convince them she's worth listening to.
She has to convince them that clicking through to her blog is worth the effort, time, and attention.
For me, even a subject line mentioning lots of answers doesn't sell clicking through to read the article.
Answers to what questions?
As business owners and entrepreneurs we're not interested in answers - we can get answers. We're interested in asking the right questions.
Dare I say it but the people with all the answers (especially those that think they have all the answers) are typically working for someone else who asks the questions.
So Esther, well done for taking all the feedback on the chin, and being open to input. Your good manners and lack of ego stand you in good stead.
Take off your coat and stay a while.
Read the book.

Sticking around in this thread might have been a pivotal moment for you.
For the rest of us, I think there are lots of insights to be gained in this thread on selling yourself first before selling your solution.
Not least making sure you're selling your solution to people who have the problem you solve, know they have the problem you solve, and *want* to solve that problem.
It's also a lesson from Esther on how to take constructive (and not so constructive) feedback, be open to learning, and on keeping going.
My takeaway is that intent trumps all.
Esther's WHY overcome her HOW.
