Alex Hermozi's value equation looks like this:

Dream Outcome (increase) X Perceived Likelihood of Achievement (increase)
---------------------------------------------------------- = Value
Time Delay (decrease) X Effort and Sacrifice (decrease)

Ask this:
What will I make: (dream outcome)
How will I know it's going to happen (Perceived Likelihood of Achievement)
How long will it take (time delay)
What is expected of me? (Effort and Sacrifice)

Example of this in use:


1. "23 sentences that'll improve your writing more than 12 years of English class:"
Dream outcome: improve your writing
To improve the perceived likelihood of achievement: Dakota uses specific numbers (23, 12).
To minimize the perceived time delay and effort: Dakota contrasts "sentences" with "years." (only 23 sentences vs 12 years).

2. "47 sentences that'll make you more money than a 4-year business degree:"
Dream outcome: make more money
Effort and Sacrifice: Again, Dakota uses specific numbers to add believability (47, 4 years) and contrast to minimize time investment and effort and sacrifice (just 47 sentences compared to a 4-year business degree).

3. "How to finish more work in 2 hours than 95% of people do in 2 weeks:"
Dream outcome: finish more work
time delay: 2 hours
Specific numbers: (2 hours, 95% of people, 2 weeks)
Contrast to increase the likelihood of achievement : (2 hours, 2 weeks)
