anyone know how to use the adblock filters? Specifically wanting to skip commercials in Hulu videos.

"How Much Would You Pay To NEVER See An Online Ad Again?"

Depends. Are people willing to pay for Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest, Basic Television, or Youtube?

I've never had a problem with the existence of ads. Yes, they sometimes annoy the heck out of me, but if I'm not paying you for your expensive service, then someone has to and I'm fine with that.

Short answer to the question, I would pay the price of Google searches, the price of watching Youtube videos whenever I want, the price of simply logging into and using Linkedin, etc.

I've asked people before to imagine having to pay to use Facebook, as an example. No go for anyone. You'd be hard-pressed to find an entrepreneur who can successfully build and grow a paid social network (I know because I have tried). The businesses (large, medium, and small) who finance these sites through ad revenue are vital and I appreciate the fact they are there.

I love ads, I love junk mail...even email spam. I get to see what others are doing, where they are advertising, their adcopy, etc... So I would never pay a single cent to prevent this. In the past, I have gone so far as to install adware on an old computer to see what advertisers/products were being promoted.

I wouldn't pay for this service for 2 reasons.

1. Ads run the web. I don't want to support a movement that will ruin freemium if widely adopted.

2. Ads are how I find cool stuff. I wouldn't have half of the gems I have now if it weren't for ads. How was I suppose to know Tommie Copper Compression wear existed for example?
