Hey everyone,
Hope you're doing fine today - i've just got a situation in my life that i need a bit of clarity on and i'm hoping there might be some people here who can give me their thoughts. Im asking FLF specially cause most people here have an entrepreneurial mindset which i relate to and resonate with vs getting advice from an average joe who is not someone worth getting advice from.
I wont go into the full details but my question is - As someone whose very interested in building a high level online business but still has to currently work a regular job to pay the bills before this happens, would i be best to work in a very high paying job (train driver - top 10% of salaries in my city & country) with zero useful business skills OR work in a much lower paying role but one that lets me build practical useful skills to online marketing (Adwords management).
My thoughts are that the high paying job gives me heaps of capital to play with and invest in my business (advertising, outsourcers, etc) and also allows me to live close to my workplace so i have a shorter commute and therefore more time to invest in the business however it won't provide me any useful or relevant skills for my business. The Adwords job however will pay me to learn high level Adwords skills and general online marketing that i can use on my own business, and will also let me see inside other successful businesses, however the pay is much lower and wouldnt give me as much capital to invest into the business.
Any thoughts?
