I thought about a bit and there might be something called:
"Frequently answered topics"

I admire patience of longtime members who answer topics for newcomers.
I also know that personal answer is better than "RT*M".

But i think that there is a place for article based or wiki pages based (if Xenforo offers such plugin) section
that could be filled by FLF members for such topics.

Example for frequently answered topics is: "How do i validate my app idea" or "How do i know if people will buy my product".
...
On the other hand,
its understood that FLF is a forum and not a step-by-step guide.
But maybe a section with links to best replies (as opposed links to whole topics)
would be of better use and encourage talk instead of passive reading.

Ok. That would be all.

Kindly asking, what do you think about it?

Sounds like we should just collect links in this thread to the posts covering these frequently answered topics. Next time you see one of these come up, you could add a post here pointing to all the previous threads.

This is something I’ve thought about. I’m constantly trying to link to thread that solve common questions.

An index or different set of “views” of all the threads in the forum could be handy. I find myself linking to many threads, but often forgetting others or not finding them.

I can’t quite envision what it would look like and how it would be managed. A wiki style master “index” page that is updated regularly might be a solution, rather than a thread that grows over time until it loses its value as an index.

What broad categories do we think these FAQs come under?

Moderators are able to edit opening posts indefinitely.

A workaround if there isn’t a Wiki style plugin (and maybe to ensure a master FAQ thread isn’t abused) could be that moderators keep an opening post up to date, and forum members can add their suggestions, discussions, and ideas to the thread?

I started one a few months ago just to keep track of the YouTube progress threads in the forum. Maybe something like this?

A directory or index does make sense. Break it down into two categories.

Starting
and
Scaling

The former would address the commonly asked questions: how to approach prospects for the first time and how to get the first sale.

The latter would address the other commonly asked questions: is it time to hire? How to invest excess revenue?

It would good because these threads would be a legacy of sorts. Not a new thread recycled every so often, when prior threads had the proper advice and insight that could have helped many people.

@Andy Black Maybe it can be new top level category, or a group inside one of the categories? There can be several moderated threads inside, about different topics, with an opening post with relevant info? Also, it would be useful to have a tag "FAQ", like "GOLD" or "NOTABLE", included in "Must reads" menu.

Anyone that has been here for more than 5 years remembers we used to have a "FAQ" at the top of the page.

Stuff like, "Is this Fastlane?" and "How Do I get a Mentor?"

It was largely ignored and threads like "Is this Fastlane?" were still started.

I'm all for a better content curation experience, but it has to be efficient and effective, not just window dressing.

And I'm limited by the Xenforo software which IMO, sucks.

I’ll have a look for a Wiki or other knowledge management solution.

Sounds like a business opportunity. What else is a pain in the a$$? What frustrates?

After curating millions of photos and coming up with similar categorization solutions, I agree that it has to be something much more efficient. Avoid the nightmare of categorizing FAQs if possible. I like the OP suggestion of a page or view with favorites of the moderators. But then copy and paste individual answer links into the new (lazy or simply overwhelmed) asker.

Categories might be chosen as they come.
"Product verification" aside of starting and scaling as Itizn pointed is common theme.

It was largely ignored and threads like "Is this Fastlane?" were still started.
The suggestion would be to put solution in the middle of two.
Not for the newcomers to read but for frequent users to quote from or link to.

Category with threads that are closed to reply but first post is curated by mods would match forum theme and wouldn't need custom plugin or coding.
The problem is that amount of content is "infinite".

There is correlation between knowing how long something will take
and actually starting.

The solution proposed is to make "finite" resource for both reading and quoting from.
This would retain "personal" aspect to replying to asker and would allow others to quickly look up more information if needed.

This would have to be judged by how much it inspires good converstion vs stopping it.
