Lately, I've been researching local lead generation. At first glance it looks nice, since after some time it becomes semi-passive income and is scalable as you can target more businesses who need leads.
The thing I don't understand is why those plumbers, roofers, etc would need someone else to get leads for them. In my country and many other countries, there's an extreme demand for these types of tradesmen. All of them are booked for the next two months, with some of them not even bothering to show up if they don't feel like it, just because there's so much demand.
So is this a sustainable business or just another scheme that gurus are making money off? Looking for people who are doing this or did this in the past.
