I have seen in this forum that dropshipping is not viewed positively, as it does not fulfill some aspects of the CENTS model. Therefore, I am curious to hear what you think about the following: digital 'dropshipping'!
Currently, I am working on two different online shops simultaneously.
In the first one, I plan to sell eBooks with PLR licenses, where I can essentially present them as 'my own,' meaning I can completely redesign the titles and covers of the books. In the second online shop, I want to write an eBook by myself using an AI program designed for this purpose, under specific criteria, which I will then edit and improve.
From my perspective, some of the criticisms against dropshipping (if this can even be considered dropshipping) are solved in this case:
- No deliveries required,
- no dependence on third-party suppliers,
- (presumably) no major issues with returns, as the right to return is void once the product is downloaded after purchase,
and (at least in the second online shop) control over the quality of the product.
Another positive aspect is that I only have to pay for both the license and the AI tool once, but I can sell the eBooks multiple times.
What do you think about this?
