Hello
Having studied countless success books, audios, videos, etc. etc. one key point that comes up time and time again is to 'be very careful who you spend time with' (or quotes and messages along those lines). The point being is that if you spend time with 'slowlaners' or 'sidewalkers' to use MJ's terms, you will yourself become just like those people.
Alternatively, we all know that if you spend your time with other successful, ambitious 'fastlaners' then this will enhance your progression in so many ways.
So the bottom line being: Avoid spending time with 99.5% of people you ever meet, spend time with 0.5% of people you meet. Ditch close friends, be selective on time spent with certain family members and seek to meet people who share the same values and beliefs when it comes to success.
While some people may struggle with this concept - I absolutely agree with it and I have no problem in being ruthless when it comes to who I choose to spend my valuable time with.
So, if there is anyone else reading this who can relate but is perhaps struggling to find the 0.5% out there, feel free to comment on this thread and share ideas etc. I am based in UK and currently involved in 5 projects/business ventures. Despite a hectic schedule, if anyone knows any decent Networking events, I'd be more than happy to find time to meet like-minded individuals. I live in an area where ambition just isn't in peoples' vocabulary, so I would welcome the opportunity to share my ideas and help others, while also gaining insight to how others are operating on the path to success.
Best of luck with your journey.
