In the past 4 months, inspired by @testuser's and @MTF's success, I found myself doing something I thought I would never do:
Writing a book!
As a copywriter and marketer, it always seemed arduous. Not worth the time investment. "Besides," I thought—"what would I write about anyway?".
And then, it hit me...
I've been living with a very severe case of Crohn's disease for 15 years, diagnosed at the ripe age of 12. At the time, doctors didn't want to treat a kid (read: take responsibility when shit hits the fan) so I resorted to treating myself. With some luck and a lot of determination for a kid, I managed to do so—to the point doctors thought I was misdiagnosed.
Spoiler alert: I wasn't.

Long story short, it triggered a nasty Crohn's disease flare (it took me a long time to realize what it was) that almost killed me. I spent about two years in and out of hospitals and surgeries. When I got out, I was still in a bad place.
Eventually, I recovered using the same methods I uncovered as a teenager, and have been defying the odds for the past 8 years by being in remission—next to no symptoms, perfect blood work, and no medication.
Now? I'm living a life that most people with Crohn's can only dream of.
So, I thought—why not write a book about it and spread the word? Bridge the gap between traditional medicine, alternative medicine, and all the wacky metaphysical books?
And I did.
I wrote something that I KNOW will completely change the lives of thousands, potentially millions of people.
But now, for the hard part: getting people to read it!
