I’m sure you have heard of “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”, and this quote really does interest me.
I really do desire to surround myself with great minded people, who are smarter than me, so I can learn from them. I’ve been looking for these people for over 5 years now, and it’s difficult, but not impossible. I keep seeking these people, not being discouraged or attempting to give up, I keep my head high and keep trying.
Now, I have come to a little conclusion why I haven’t met anyone with a similar or stronger and better mindset with me, and this is due to my age. I am 15 years old, and I always express my burning desire to my mum how I want at least one friend who I can learn from. And she says “they will come, very soon” and that’s what keeps me going.
Teenagers in general are not the people I would prefer to associate with, I rather spend time with an adult as I can learn more from them. But I’m sure there are young people like me out there in this world, just waiting to be discovered.
On top of this, I have been seeking a mentor. I am so drawn into Jim Rohn’s and Napoleon Hill’s speeches and motivational videos. And do my best to find people like them, as they inspire me.
So, if there is any advice form anyone, I would be open to listen.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thread.
