A good video that you need to watch

The legend Michael Porter has written some of the greatest books on competitive strategy and strategy in the business realm as a whole. I stumbled upon these gems on youtube. If you cant read the book (it is a hefty read) I suggest you watch the vids. Nothing has changed and you will see the executives back in the day say the same mantra like listening to the customer etc.

This post is in no ways glorifying the crack/drug dealing/vice trade however a lot of philosophical and metaphysical concepts to ponder. This man (Frank Lucas) given his rough upbringing and environment in rural North Carolina, sought out to become the sole leader of an entire city through his business strategy. The way to get his product, the way to market/distribute it, the way he kept a low profile (until he met his soon to be wife)...
