Hi Fastlane Community, Happy Friday!
My name is Sushil, and I'm based in Toronto, Canada. I'm 40 years old and deeply grateful for the life I have today.
Professionally, I work in the media and advertising industry, specializing in media analytics and marketing measurement. I help large organizations understand how their marketing investments impact business outcomes. I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems and creating measurement solutions that help marketing leaders make better decisions.
After reading both The Millionaire Fastlane and Unscripted , I realized that my greatest limitation isn't a lack of opportunity, but a lack of thinking bigger. The books challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, become more giving, and focus on solving larger problems that create real value for others.
On the personal side, I've never been married and have remained single by choice. Through self-reflection, I realized part of that decision came from not yet feeling like the kind of stable provider I wanted to be. Entrepreneurship, for me, isn't about chasing money. It's about creating value, serving people, and building something meaningful. One lesson life has repeatedly reinforced is that when you genuinely give, you often receive much more in return.
One of the most fulfilling moments for me is sending part of every paycheck back to my parents in India to support their daily living and elderly care. Knowing I can contribute to their well-being gives me far more satisfaction than any material purchase.
As for my entrepreneurial journey, I've taken a few early steps. I started a newsletter focused on solo-friendly events and grew it to 21 organic subscribers over 12 weeks. While it was a valuable experience, I eventually realized it wasn't solving a meaningful enough problem.
Today, I'm looking for opportunities to build something on the side, develop prototypes, solve real problems, and eventually create a business that can provide both impact and financial independence.
I'm here to learn, contribute, challenge my thinking, and connect with others who are on a similar journey.
Looking forward to learning from all of you.
