Hey guys!

I just started my first business in the US. Basically its to help US clients find good remote workers. Now, this is not my first company I only made this business after making my first one successful enough to not rely on my each and every dictation but since this is my first time doing business in the States there are some things that I am concerned about first is I have never done marketing in the US and I am not too sure about the best way to go about things and this is something I wanted a quick review on from the more experienced people here on what worked our best for them.

Thank you!!

Step 1 - Write shorter sentences.
Step 2 - Read more forum threads. The answers you seek are here, but you should spend some time seeking them out and learning.
Step 3 - Armed with the knowledge from having read more forum threads and learned some specifics, come back here and ask more specific questions.

Google, Facebook, Tik Tok, Quora, Emails, Website Forms, Twitter, Youtube, Cold Calling, the list goes on and on. Pick one you think works for you, and start to master it.

I think if I was being more specific it would be that I want to know the best way to get in touch with companies directly via warm or cold calling. Social media marketing, SEO and google ads is something I am already doing.

First of all, congratulations are in order! Starting a new business, whether it's your first, second, third, and etc–it'll always be daunting and exhilarating. You targeted a really relevant sector in the region, too! Remote working is the norm and will probably be the norm for a few more years to come.

Now, on to the tips. BizyDad is spot on with his first tip; communication is key. You can achieve that by breaking down pieces of information into manageable chunks so that people are not forced to digest everything you say in one go.

Remember: you can market all you want, but if people don't understand a word you say–you're wasting your time.

Also, I think that you're already aware of just how big the digital marketing industry is in the US. Even if it's not your first rodeo, I'd suggest reaching out for help. If you're in a position to hire, do it. It'll save you a headache. I'd highly suggest avoiding agencies for SEO though. Since you're a somewhat B2B business, try looking for a B2B SEO consultant. I won't explain the difference in detail because the pros and cons are highly variable in your situation, but I will link you a piece of reference here if you want to read up on it.

Warm calling is out of the options right now if you haven't been actively marketing and advertising as of late (and I assume you haven't because the tone of your questions implies the business is recent), whereas cold calling would need lead generation.

Honestly, the ideal answer to your question regarding "the best way" to reach out is to make yourself so attractive and prominent in the mark that they'll reach out to you. That includes building a product/service that is actually worth your target market's while. So, before you go out chasing leads, make sure you have something worth the second glance. Show them numbers, give them case studies, make a portfolio of results–anything noteworthy may entice your first few customers to give you a shot. Best of luck!

Thank you so much!!

You are totally on point and super helpful. thank you for taking out time to write all of this down for me!

And yes I do have 1 client for now ( I know not much but still ) I'm looking to get his reviews get referrals and maybe if he is open to it just do a 60sec or less video explaining how we managed to bring his cost down while keep the quality up there!

You are awesome have a good day!

You're welcome and hey, don't belittle your achievements! Some people struggle the most with the first sale (and frankly speaking, that is the most nerve-wracking) but you did it! I still believe that word-of-mouth marketing is the strongest type out there, so if you can get someone competent and reliable to vouch for you, that's already a terrific spot to be in! Keep us posted on your journey, I've no doubt you'll make it far! :)
