Been a while since I read the thread, but if I recall, this was seasonal, right? If so, given the season, doesn't it make sense ads don't convert? Are people just window shopping now, to maybe come back in the future?

What about the other thing you were working on? I can't remember if you made it public knowledge so I won't mention it, but didn't it help people with a certain medical condition?
It’s definitely a seasonal niche but it may not be a seasonal product from what I’m seeing. Once I get back to testing and running ads I will be able to know a little more. Would love to get into a niche that isn’t seasonal.

About the other product....yes. Didn’t want to call it quits on my current one or run two at once. Neither of those seem like good options at the moment so I’m taking it one step at a time.

Waito put all the action-fakers to shame (myself included!). So inspiring to see someone start as small as you did, with such little that you started with, and bring yourself up daily.

With all my wits and knowledge, experience, and capital, I've done 0 sales. You're my hero mate, keep doing what you're doing. Rooting for you, and excited to see what else life has in store for you.

Keep us posted on your progress - I'll be eagerly watching and learning from you!

Quick update! I have to get my INSIDERS sub back but I'll post it in here for now.

I started a thread about how my goal was to get to $10,000+ in a month this year.... I broke it for the first time last month!

That may not be something to write home about to big earners here.... but for someone who was making little to nothing doing ecommerce and trying things out it's life changing.

I've totally stopped running my ecommerce business and have someone in my family interested in buying it off of me and taking it over.

I moved from two storage units to a work space that is twice the size... but connected to a house. I work from home now!

My goal now is to keep growing this business and franchise this to a nearby state early next year.

I've been getting a lot of questions from people on what exactly I do and how to do it and what all goes into it.... and I normally do a good job of keeping my mouth shut. I don't want more competition.

BUT.... It's not an internet business so I'm starting to become more open to the possibility of coaching and helping some people get started in doing what I do.

It costed me $200 to start. All you need is a car that can tow a trailer.

If interested reach out.

If this isn't ok to throw out there to whoever may be interested then mods let me know I'll take it down.

I am pleased to see that you have moved on to something that is not eCommerce and can be franchised. Just to be sure your new business meets the criteria for a franchiseable business check out Rapid Scaling a business by franchising | where I posted the whole chapter that explains what the criteria are.

Franchising has been on my mind nonstop lately so I'll check it out. I bought your book on importing when I was running my ecom business and it was worth every penny!

Woah man, what a thread, it was quite a segway at the end with the new biz, but the progress has been amazing. This thread shows very very well a real process and exposes the reality of entrepreneurship.

It's great that you're doing something better for you now, but it looks like it was a great choice to focus for a year in your ecom, now you don't have that 'what if...' you talked about.

Congratulations.

I've decided this week to get back into ecommerce while running my current business. I've been trying to figure out how to invest the money I'm making and it hit me.... if I were to invest in what I understand... then it would be another ecom business that can run separate from my time. My offline business is doing good and I'm busy but I have money to spend now and have had this product idea in the back of my head now for about two years.

One person that I watched start from nothing is now making at least 100K/month in revenue selling this product and I am jumping in while there is still time. There is room for improvement and I'm super excited to get back into ecom and marketing products.

I visited a patent lawyer yesterday and he basically sat there and said "You should do this" even with a couple things that I have to watch out for.

I'll keep the thread updated or start a new one!
