Listened to the 3 episodes you've got on Spotify (no place to rate/review there, or am I blind).
Loved 'em. Will definitely be back again and sharing with friends.

Picked up the Audible version of "Start With Why" and have been listening to it tonight.

Personally I don't mind if you cuss, but I can understand how it will get you a bigger audience if you refrain from it.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Show #4 is now available!

It is inspired by the Forbes Billionaire list!

Apple (For some reason the new episode isn't on the site yet, but it is in the app and ready to listen)

Spotify

Google Podcasts

Spreaker

Or whatever your favorite app is that you have been listening to it on!

We also have some serious GOLD content coming from 3 amazing forum members on the way in the next week or so! I am incredibly humbled by the amazing response we have gotten so far. This is fun despite my introversion! Maybe I will have to do a show about facing fears head on.

Don't forget to record some of your questions to be featured on the show!

Main takeaway: No need to reinvent the wheel.

Also, I’m equally appalled at George Floyd being killed, the other cops not preventing it, and the fear amongst passerby’s that meant they wouldn’t intervene.

My takeaway was that you don't need to have an amazing idea, as long as at the core of what you are doing is solving problems for people (the bigger the better).

I only seen the George Floyd stuff a few days ago as i was not in the loop but seen america was rioting.

It wasn't police brutality it was a murder with no remorse....all of his cop mates who watched are cowards and should be charged with murder also.

I felt angry as soon as i seen that video and his cop mates just watching.

I don't blame the people acting out and wanting change.

Stealing is not the way, but something needs to change and change in a big way. Nothing about that was ok and to think how often it happens and we just don't hear about it.

@Kak I saw that you were buying into a Gold ETF on the Covid thread. I tried to PM you but I couldn't. I prefer to buy physical Gold myself, as ETFs entail unseen risks and downside compared to the actual asset itself.

All depends if you're approaching it from short term or long term. Short term the ETF is most likely better. But I'm holding gold for long term insurance.

Check out this video if you're interested

Thanks for posting this!

Between this and a few other questions that people sent in to the show... I think we are close to having a full show worth of question material.

I will explain my reasoning for owning both physical and the ETFs and I feel like gold, in general, is a good idea right now. It should be a good show.

Let me encourage everyone to send in the voice messages. I am also going to do a show on facing fears and how getting out of your comfort zone regularly is very good for your business growth. I know it is probably an uncomfortable thing for you to ask a question in front of a lot of people but what could possibly go wrong?

Will that be on YouTube as well, with you talking to the camera? ; )

Actually do you have a YouTube channel? If you do then maybe add it to your signature?

BTW... this guy is quite good on YouTube talking to the camera. I like him because his original and main business is about audio production, not about digital marketing.

He's since evolved into creating a Podcast and YouTube channel about creating courses etc.
Here's an example video on that channel:

YES!

Kill bigger has a budding YouTube Channel. Currently it is audio only... But I already have cameras and equipment on my list to add a video element.

I fully intend to add that element, but it might be a while. This show needs to grow legs enough that I can have someone else do the video editing. The audio is easy enough. A 20 minute show takes me 35 minutes to record and edit. That is no big deal. It is my understanding that video editing is tremendously more time consuming.

I am already looking at the 4k GoPro 8 with the vlogging attachment. When I start anything, I am a perfectionist. The production quality quickly needs to be like multi-million viewer perfect, like the most popular radio shows on the internet.

Edit the video based on the audio timeline (so just how you want it to sound). Don’t look at the video and don’t worry about jump cuts. You’ll find it’s quite easy. You can then pass it to someone to add all those intros and outros.

Loving these episodes @Kak. This episode is something I really wanted, as it gives a glimpse into the types of problems you look for so that you can kill bigger.

Love the focus on the less "sexy" industries still. I saw a big pain point with printers yesterday that some innovation can help solve, which is still an $80bn market size (I do wonder how fast it'll drop though).

Great stuff.

Sounds "quite easy."

LOL I will toy around with it. I just want that go pro now. Which is ridiculous because I never "go pro."

If I hooked it to my helmet while snowboarding, no amount of hardcore music will make up for me gliding down a blue next to other intermediate skiers.

I absolutely loved the billionaires podcast and its message. Many people get caught up on being the next Mark Cuban or Elon Musk, but we really should be looking at the "no-names" on the list that have worked on something a little closer to home (SpaceX pun intended).

Great podcasts so far. I agree on the professional approach at this stage. The only thing that I would nitpick is a comment where you mention that Mexicans are typically "yes" people and Chinese people are "no" people. I worry many will take that the wrong way. I would have personalized it and said the folks you worked with were that way. Other than that, looking forward to all the new content.

I am THRILLED you are enjoying the show brother!

LOL Yeah, that was kind of my observation on the comments I made. I didn't like how they came out either. Culturally speaking, it seemed to be the case, but I didn't preface it with the politically correct adjectives. I definitely didn't mean to offensively generalize.

It definitely seems to be the case over several examples ranging from consumer products to industrials that the Latins were culturally more flexible in their dealings and the Chinese were always more by the book. Obviously no offense intended. Both options have strong suits and weak points. They definitely do business differently.

China is currently getting more risky, more expensive and less stable. Mexico seems to be on the upswing.

Other things to consider include:

Quality
Shipping Times
Time Zones
Communication Formality
Shipping Cost
Manufacturing Cost
Customization
Availability of what you are looking for

All of these vary between China and Mexico.

@Kak @Vigilante

I didn’t know which thread to write this in but it’s for both of you.

Thanks for taking action and showing the truth in two of my favourite phrases:

“People listen to experts, they follow leaders.” (Dan Gallapoo)

“Tell me what you’ve done and I’ll tell you who you are.” (Unknown)

For a few weeks I was finding the forum a bit tedious with too much arguing and complaining and not much action taking (in my humble opinion as a forum member). I’ve been grateful for the ignore thread feature.

Now you guys, plus a few other progress threads, are showing what it means to be leaders. You’re forging ahead and your energy is infectious.

I think there’s a definite buzz about the forum recently and your two threads have played a big part in generating it.

Thanks guys.

Also... it’s entertaining watching you bounce off each other and spur each other on. This is a good example of what it means to have someone to mastermind with. You don’t sit round having kumba-yah moments, or talk about grandiose plans you will get round to doing. You can talk about what you’ve *done* to spur each other on. Thanks for letting people see that.

For those reading and following, and especially those new to the forum: the progress threads are the most informative threads in the forum. You get a chance to look over someone’s shoulder in real time. You get to see how they think, and how they assess, act, and adjust.

If you’re new and don’t have a progress thread then I urge you to create one. Don’t worry about looking dumb or falling flat on your face. That’s expected and part of the process. It’s how you pick yourself up and keep going that will define you.

Pick a direction. Get started. Keep going.

Thank you so so much for the kind words Andy! I am working hard on this because it is quickly becoming something I am passionate about. This is flat out fun for me despite me being somewhat introverted. This is blowing away my expectations!

Genuine is what I am going for here. I hope it comes across real and I am so glad you guys are all enjoying it.

We currently have 2 comments through the speakpipe! I probably need about 3-4 to have the first Q&A show. So you guys who are a little shy should step out of the comfort zone and send in a question!

Such a great show with @MoneyDoc. This was an amazing story of his personal journey, and where ever you fall on the pro or con Amazon scope (or even if you don't care about eCommerce at all) it is worth it to listen to the show to gain some motivation about starting and running a business from scratch. I really enjoyed the show, and Kyle you are finding a natural authentic voice of experience that people will want to listen to. This show is absolutely a must listen for people on the forum who will enjoy getting a REAL perspective from @Kak and @MoneyDoc. Great fun listen.

I really think Kyle is the next media success story in this space.

I am not sure if it is because I am an INSIDERS or because I have some ad settings blocked, but I don't see people's signatures (and thus I didn't see what Kyle was talking about). So, if you can't see his signature, you can click this link to leave an audio comment or question for him :

If you all like that feature, I will add it to the Mind Your Business Radio Show and to the INSIDERS section for the INSIDERS calls.
