I would love to get some feedback from The Fastlane community, especially for those still looking to make the transition to launch their Fastlane businesses. Specifically, I would love to know questions you may have and what I can cover to help and be an additional resource.

The classic "I want to help you by having you sign up for my program and give me thousands of dollars."

You'd be a lot better served by not trying to deceive a forum built around a book that calls out fake gurus.

@MJ DeMarco @Vigilante @Andy Black - obvious advertisement.

I have nothing to sell on my site and I wanted honest feedback.
Where is the right place to ask for feedback from this community?

they might also be looking for a backlink! Don't forget that part, haha.

This definitely comes off as a blatant advertisement though.

I have contacted MJ to better understand this Forum. I was hoping for a good community with helpful people when I signed up.
But if this place is a wrong place to post for feedback, I will move it to the right location. I want to keep this forum positive with respect.

Your website is set up with ClickFunnels. You're not looking for "feedback". You're looking to put people from this forum into your funnel.

Your end game is not yet defined, but what is definite is that you're looking to profit in one way or another from forum members. There's nothing wrong with that if you're transparent and pay for a Marketplace ad. But you're not doing that. Instead you're creating this charade, pretending to help others out for your own eventual benefit.

Maybe buy a Marketplace Ad and rebrand your reputation on this forum?

And for feedback on your website, it sounds like one of those scammy get rich quick websites that is going to get your email and then send you 1-5 newsletters and then try to sell you a $97 e-book.

To me it doesn’t sound authentic. Be then again, I tend to never believe sales copy. It makes sense why your website is like that since you like the marketing aspect. It probably will work on lots of people but it’s not my style.

Guys, she wanted feedback.

Give her feedback.

While we can presume she's trying to "click funnel" us, she has more than 1 post under her belt and is an INSIDERS.

Thread moved to "Concept Feedback."

I would fix the ugly grammar error in the front-page Kiyosaki quote. It is a comma splice. Either put a semicolon or period after "inside of us"

Sorry to sound picky, but poor grammar in sales copy drives me nuts.

I like all the quotes you start your posts with.

Photos on the Journal page take ages to download.

Your story was compelling on your About page. What do you want someone to do after they've read it though? Put a CTA at the bottom, even if it's a "Read more" link that takes someone deeper into your world.

I read your Start Here page. Well done on your sales. You start by talking about how your father went bankrupt and you tried to work out why, and then talk about making sales. It doesn't flow quite right yet. You've got elements in that story and in your About that a copywriter could likely weave into something that flows better? Might be worth getting one to have a look at it with you?

Feedback:

I don't understand the product. You say "New Wealth Formula" a lot, but I don't know if that's the formula for building a business, or for trading stocks, or for living life - I'm not going to give you my email if I don't know what you're actually "selling" (I put selling in quotes, because even though you aren't asking for money at this point, you're asking for contact information which I assume will be used in future sales, considering the tone of the website).

When I sign up, do I get an ebook, or access to a website, what's the actual product from giving you my info?

I also think the copy is long - when there are large chunks of text, I skim through until I find something that catches my eye. If you have other visitors like me, they aren't reading your whole site, so they aren't getting your whole story.

I don't know about others, but I like my info concise (may be a side effect of the industry - I'm sure you understand). You have four posts on the website so far about getting started, where is the meat of the information?

First of, UGLY WEBSITE.

Second of, get a CTA at the bottom of the funnel that's more visible.

Everything is out of alignment, ugly logo, no color scheme, no brand. As other said, looks like your average "get rich quick with this one secret" website.

Go to theme forest, look at what top 10 themes are doing in terms of color and alignment, design in general. Not necessarily funnel, because those websites are mostly made to look nice, not to sell products with them.

As I'm going through the website. Again, UGLY colors. Fix that first so that it looks decent. Pick 3 to 4 colors max and stick to those. Don't go pink, red, green etc. Especially on the picture backgrounds. Looks too ugly. People won't trust whatever you have to sell if the website looks like you put in 3 hours of work into it.

ALSO, the biggest thing:

If that "formula" works as you claim(btw, again, as I'm typing this, sounds like run of the mill scam) then why are you charging people for it instead of using it to make money.

And, yes, there is no direct "buy" action on the website. But let's not kid ourselves, you are going to sell something that connects to whatever you are talking about over email.

TL;DR: Ugly colors, if it works so well then why are you teaching it and not doing it.

Feedback:

The site is pretty random and doesn't look very organized. I have no clue what OZZOCOCO is and how that relates to any branding.

There is no design aesthetic, the fonts are bland, and the copy is just OK, and not spaced properly.

If I was a random passer-by, I'd guess it was another "get rich quick" type of click-funnel offer for harvesting emails. But then again, I'm not your average consumer and see things from a producer angle.

If you're competing in this area, you have to be on top of your game because every Tom, Dick, and Harry is in this space. I realize that you're just soliciting for emails, but that alone is a PRICE that needs to be sold.

At the end of the day, what is your #1 goal for someone who visits the site? And is your site optimized for that purpose?

Well you guys called this one.

User is banned.

Just another get rich quick drive-by who used the forum to get feedback on her crappy wealth scheme. And when she didn't hear what she wanted, she cried to PayPal. Regretting that I spent anymore than 9 seconds of my life on this garbage. Good riddance.

What's sad is that she at one point created a product that actually solved a need, but then shifted her primary focus away from it.

I'm assuming this is what happened:
  • Quit her job.
  • Was super proud of herself for doing so.
  • Created a product that solved a need.
  • Realized it's pretty hard to move product and that results aren't instantaneous.
  • Grew frustrated with her business quickly and decided to move onto the next get rich quick scheme.
  • Remembered all those guru courses she signed up for/saw.
  • Started working on her own guru course.
  • Got called out on this forum which added to the frustration.
  • Had to choose between "The market sees through my bullshit and that I'm a fake guru," or "This community is filled with assholes."
  • Chose the latter justification.
  • Moved on, continuing her journey of 'get rich quick' which is heading nowhere but back to her old job.
@MIHOKO - I know you'll read this at some point, and when you do, just remember to keep going. Quit the fake guru bullshit and go back to your product. It seemed like it could create value, you just have to figure out how to sell it. That's not easy, but part of the journey. It'll take awhile to get to where you want to be, but it'll be worth it.
