42 year old Video Editor, tired of trading time for money.

When I was young I had dreams of Hollywood. but life did not turn out that way. I started out as an entreprenuer in my early 20s. Me and my best friend started a video production company creating 3D animation for local ad agencies. We had no idea what we were doing but the money was great. A few years later we split up, I had a kid on the way and he moved out to LA. Since then I've worked in local television making those shitty commercials in your nightly newscast, while making short films on the side.

Right now I've started an online video production & training website and I want to learn more about growing my business and making it passive. After reading TMF I realize that I'm on the right path and I want to learn everything I can to grow my business.

So are you creating 3D videos with 3dmax/etc now or you do actual video production?
