Problems that can't be solved ...

... are the ones under the table.

If you put a problem on the table for everyone to see, then you can typically solve it.

You can never solve problems that are under the table. You just end up solving symptoms and not the underlying root cause.

Wherever you may encounter problems (whether with your life partner, business partners, family, friends, or customers) make sure you create an environment where people feel safe enough to put problems on the table.

Problems under the table can't be solved.

Problems on the table can.

Trust and communication are key.

Problem Number 1: My phone battery keeps dying and its on charge most of the time or I'm looking for a place to charge it. This is one of the biggest problems people are currently having in the modern world. If someone comes along and fixes this they will be very handsomely rewarded by the market.

Don't they already have at least particial fixes? For example iPhone case with additional battery inside, or the power bank you can carry with you to charge when needed.

Many local phone shops only charge $40 for a new battery. I had my iphone done 3 weeks ago and I am able to use it all day without charging. As the above poster mentioned they have numerous charging packs, battery cases, jump packs you can plug and use as a temporary fix.

I hate to say it but the first biggest problem that can't be solved to come to mind was the United States national debt... By 2026 our interest on our debt is projected to be more than what we spend on defense... It scares the shit out of me.

That being said, my goals of financial security and building recession/depression proof businesses are the only ways I can personally ease my anxiety of our national debt.

Thanks for the comments. I was unaware of most of these temporary fixes and will be trying them all out to see if it helps my situation. If a permanent fix is found for this issue or one that only requires charging every few days it would be amazing.

Well, the problem of national debt cannot be solved with a fractional reserve system. Because for every $1 in the economy there needs to be $1 of debt. That's just how the system works.

In order to solve the problem of national debt you need to change the entire financial system. Otherwise it is entirely unavoidable.

I think y'all might have missed the point @Andy Black was trying to make...just wanted to put that problem "on the table" lol

@Andy Black ,

Good post. I learned this one the hard way many, many, many times. It's easier (?) to let problems fester instead of bringing them out into the light.

I've done that with romantic relationships, customers, bosses, business partners, my parents, and my sister. (to name a few)

Seems to be a recurring theme for me haha.

For me I don't avoid it because of fear of confrontation, but out of anger. So a lot of times I avoid putting it on the table because of that, and others avoid putting it on the table for the same reason. It can be difficult for me to "create an environment where people feel safe enough to put problems on the table" as you say.

It's always better to just tackle the problem straight on and right away, but it's not always easy.
