Thanks for all the peer pressure to get this thing going.

Would really appreciate sharing it with anyone you think it'd be helpful to.

Would love to see some fastlaners responding in the blog comments.

Really looking forward to getting your thoughts on it.

Serious question: What made you choose "Forever Jobless" over "Forever Unemployed," which has a stronger connotation?

Being jobless and being unemployed are two completely different things. I will never have a "job" again, but that doesn't mean I am unemployed. Verial, hang around this place a lot more and you will gain a deep appreciation for the distinction of those two terms.

Snowbank, great job getting started. Re-read your opening, I think you missed the word " of "

First, a few words about most the books or blogs you read – forget about them.

Bill...

I say this with the utmost of respect as I've come to love your posts, theories, and opinion, but seriously bro, how is this "a launch?"

I see a Wordpress installation and not even one article. There's a "send me money" link and a MY STORY.

I'd hardly call this "a launch" as something like this takes a skilled WP person about 30 minutes to do. I could do it in an hour.

Would really appreciate sharing it with anyone you think it'd be helpful to.

What is there to share? Why would someone share? There's no content, articles, or value. Has someone hijacked Bill's account as this is the type of thing I'd expect you'd call out.

When you discussed "a launch" in the other thread, I envisioned a project with significant engineering and content (VALUE), very similar to BlueFireP0ker ... instead, I see something that looks like it could have been done in 1 day.

Am I missing something?

If you ask me, I think you owe everyone their $500. :p

I laughed at the "Send me money" thing.

We're all waiting for your content, man.

Serious question: What made you choose "Forever Jobless" over "Forever Unemployed," which has a stronger connotation?

I played around with a lot of different domain names. I did several different polls and Forever Jobless blew the other names I was considering away. So, I just went with what the numbers were saying.

There were other names I liked more early on, but people kept saying this one was the one that caught their attention/was catchy.

I think it was an easy name to remember and relatively short.

Really came down to how well it tested though.

fwiw, there were several domain names I was considering with the word "unemployed" and "unemployable" in them. The domains I had for those weren't as good.

Thank you, great catch. Looking back over it, I can't remember if I meant to leave it out, or forgot. I'm trying to write more along the lines of how I would speak(which is difficult/I'm still learning), and I may have done that here but honestly not sure. Going to leave it for now, but when I read it after you pointed it out I thought the same thing, "shit".

Not sure if maybe the first article isn't showing up for you:

Found it, thanks.

Most people who know how to make money, don’t blog. Most people who blog, don’t know how to make money.

I know if we can expect more of this from you, you'll acquire a loyal following quick, including me. Good luck. :)

Just barely. Was in the office until 6am trying to tweak a lot of last minute things. For people who know me, they know writing and anything technical are not my strong suits, and it probably takes me 10x the amount of time as other people for those things.

Have gotten a ton of help from MikeC and Davidla or I probably wouldn't have launched until August of 2013.

Before I would sign up, I would like to know why I should listen to you. How successful are you?

To me, this looks like one of those FastLanes where you get rich telling other people how to get rich.

These are honest, legitimate questions. I know nothing about you, and before I would buy you would need to qualify yourself.

If you don't follow what I'm saying...you need to answer these questions on your website. I see your intro and bio, and a co

There's probably a book worth of stuff I've written here. You can read it and see if it's helpful for you. No need to sell you on why you should or shouldn't. It's either helpful for you, or not. Chances are it will be, but you've gotta decide that yourself.

this looks like one of those FastLanes where you get rich telling other people how to get rich.

If that were the case, I guess I forgot to spam affiliate crap all over my blog like 99.99% of the blogs you see. The blog will make $0/month for a long time. It's probably the only "make money" blog on the internet right now that has zero monetization on purpose.

If you read my intro post there, you will see what my goals are with the site.

If my goal with it was to make a lot of money, I wouldn't be starting a blog. :) I can make substantially more starting businesses

I think his point was that a first time visitor to your blog wouldn't know your credentials like we do on the forum. Maybe write a bit more about your successes in specific to solidify your credibility in your visitors mind.
