Tbh from the last post i made, I recently realized that I'm egoistic and entitled. I'm pretty hesitant to post this because i keep asking kinda the same questions, but me and my mom both agree to go in a program to find a vocational place. Anyways i haven't done a lot lately and realize that my time is being lost.

Though i do have questions, so i realize that, "I'm the dog that cries because I'm sitting on the nail, but not doing anything". So I have no motivation to go out find a job, since i realize I'm too comfortable. Maybe the answer is in the book(currently reading "millionaire fastlane " my 5th time) but what's one way to get out of this "too comfortable" situation? Currently I'm looking to go in the vocational place.

Also another one is something i remember from @woke (i think that's your username?) But he mentioned that while looking for a job, that i should go out and look for opportunities (like cutting grass from the neighbors, or stuffs like that) though it does sound straightforward but i kinda want know more details about it. Tbh it's a little bit out of my comfort zone haha

You're looking for a quick and comfortable fix to get yourself our of your comfort zone.

There is indeed a quick solution, but it's not comfortable:

Imagine the hell that awaits you in 5 years' time if you don't get your act together now.
You will be living the life that you are building for yourself at this very moment. How will that life look like? Are you ready to face the consequences?

If the answer is no, maybe it's time to start doing things differently.
Nobody is coming to save you. If you can't motivate yourself, no one can.

Did you see the video that recently went viral of two kids shovelling drives for $20?

If you want to cut grass for money, walk up to houses, ring the doorbell and ask. People say yes (cha ching and get mowing), or no (goto the next house and ask again). That's all there is to it.

Hey Andy, just want to say that it took me a whole day to truly observe what you said in the post that you linked. It all make sense now, especially the one guy's advice, "the best way to learn, teach". But just truly want to say thank you. (I know words doesn't mean anything but i promise myself to help out someone).

Props for posting it anyways man.

The answer is in the book, but it may fly over your head if you read it again. It was the same for me. Instead, find reasons for "why" you want to stop being comfortable. Get a pen and paper out, write it down. Look at it, scrutinize it, see if you're being honest with yourself. If those reasons aren't going to motivate you to stop dabbling around, then you're not being honest enough.

Want to be more honest with yourself?
1) speed your life to about 5 years from now, with the exact routine you have going. How will you feel? How will you think of yourself? How will you view your life? How will you look? IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?

2) speed your life to about 5 years from now AGAIN, but this time as a kick-a$$ go-getter that's driven and accomplished all the things you would want to. What did he do differently from you today? What did he have to give up? What did he have to experience? What caused his self-esteem to increased?

3)Gun to the head method. Imagine you WILL die when you lie down tonight. This is it man. This is your last night. What will you regret not doing? What are you willing to give up if you had another chance? What will be different? Who will you disappoint? You can amp this up and get yourself into a very serious and no-f*ck given attitude if you play some sad music in the background.

Write all this down. Look at it, reflect on it, and see if you can design your "way"(more so a series of action you must take) to get uncomfortable.

To get out of your comfort zone is not a singular event that must happen. It's a series of micro-decision in between where you are right now and where you want to go. You MUST, it is imperative, to know where you are and where you want to go. Everyday. Whatever it takes.

To get to where you want to be...

It could be as simple as waking up earlier. Doing some exercise every time you slack off. Hitting the gym 3 times a week. Cold showers. Talk to strangers. Sauna. Volunteer. Etc. Find what will work for you.

that i should go out and look for opportunities (like cutting grass from the neighbors, or stuffs like that) though it does sound straightforward but i kinda want know more details about it.
Go and find more details! The amount of time you type that last sentence, you could search and open up Johnnyboy's Lawn care thread.

kick some a$$ man! GL.
