Elon in the early days wasn’t as effective or experienced but he kept with it. His time at PayPal he probably subtracted value while learning, and Thiel was more useful … but look at Elon now. He’s got the scars to prove he was in battles. His businesses are thriving making him the wealthiest person in the world.

It is only natural that he’d want to own a media company (even a decentralized social media platform like Twitter, it’s just the sign of times).

But make no mistakes about it, it’s not some charity for him. I don’t know what his goals are. It’s not like he’s buying CNN or Fox. He won’t have a team of idiots facing a camera and producing toxic verbal diarrhea to program the masses.

I really wish he does buy Twitter, if only to see what he’ll change and do!
