Success is in relationships.

Everything in the world is relationships and the most strong kind of relationships is friendship.

The best business is the one that has the Ocean's 11 model.

The best networking is when you're happy to invite half of your contacts for barbeque.

The most rapidly growing business is a result of calls and hangouts with right people, not of big investments.
You will be surprised how much can be done for literally no cash. In no time.

Have you read a thread here at TFLF, or maybe created one, where the idea turned out to require a lot of money to execute?
Well, let me share a secret, there are people who know how to execute it with minimum investement.

A friend of mine who runs a hosting company and premium computer retail, was first introduced to me as a client.
I saved him fortune and now have equity in both of his businesses. He flies to Russia on every occasion so we can hang out and discuss more opportunities.
When we first talked he was desperate and would have returned to 9-to-5 if he didn't randomly meet a friend of mine on social network.

There are many people here on TFLF who really need friends more than anything.

I met a lot of people online, who helped me level up my own business. Who introduced me to owners of really big companies and, what is even more important, introduced me to amazing, industry top specialists who I would otherwise never know.

.

so we can say that there are really 2 levels on this forum

number 1 : people like you in the quote

number 2 : people like me who are here to read people like you and to give value at their basic level of understanding

out of the 30 000 users of this forum, the pareto principle says that

number 1 category gathers 20 % of users

number 2 category gathers 80 % of users.

You know what I love the most about the Pareto principle?

It's that only you decide who you will be: 80% or 20%.

Escape 80%, join 20%.
Then escape 80% of 20%.
Then repeat over and over again.

The key to cultivating long lasting relationships to show the value you can add to a person's life. Focus on giving rather than receiving and it will come back in tenfold... although it may not be in the manner you expect

in my opinion, all is already decided when we were born

i was not born a very sociable person willing to speak at events and to become the french Tony Robbins

and i won't , even if i had the skills.

because this is not in my nature. we can't really deceive life by playing a character which we are not.

we can become the best of ourself but everybody has to live his life according to his understanding of life.

I think the same, even though I have taught myself how to speak and convince people. Even now, when I am getting better at it, and getting benefits from how I talk, I exhaust when I have to do it. On the other hand, my sister is natural, can be surrounded with people the whole day and everybody likes her.
I have to admit I don't like doing it but it is a must if I want to keep on going in my business.

Good portion of things I do now and enjoy doing - is not what I'm naturally gifted with.
I was that kid who was said to never become this and that. That I have no predispositions for certain things.
Was struggling for years doing things with no favourable outcome in sight.

Considering my height, I used to be very thin - air would blow and I would levitate. If someone would say that one day I'll have a solid physique - people would laugh. Guess who's laughing now.

I wasn't born with the most pleasant voice. It was really annoying to listen to me.
Today, most likely I'm one of the very few people in my whole country who can teach even a raccoon how to be spectacular at verbal skills. And I'm not exaggerating.

I'm an introvert, I used to be shy, agoraphobic (diagnose), afraid of even talking to women.
As of today: cold-calling? No problem. Getting along with people in foreign countries? Nothing special. Getting laid? Easy.

I can continue this list forever. A book-long writing about what I used to suck at and what I effortlessly do now.
It was hard, it was painful, it was a long way, but it was worth it. The most outstanding things I can do is what I have zero talent for.

If I would give up, I would never be where I am.

You are what you believe in. Your only limitations are those you put yourself into.
You can go even as far as overcoming limitations that nature itself created for you, which I also have a good list for.

There is NOTHING that is decided for you.
The only decision maker is YOU.
Want something? One day you'll make it. The more relentlessly you work for it, the faster you'll be there.

You can live the way you want. Keep in mind that you will be in the 80% if that is what you believe.

You're free to reinvent yourself at any time. I've done it several times in fact.
