I wanted to quick describe a day in the life. Mental notes as I prepare to work 7 days this week. On the new business.

I’m in the middle of fulfilling a large contract for a new business relationship. In the process to ensure high quality I’m working an extra day with the team. So it’ll make 7 full days.

I’ve been noticing a theme internet gurus etc. talking about time spent in the business.

This is very true concept to work on the business not in the business.

But I do think you have to recognize where you are in the phase of business growth.

This is year one on the approach to 1 million plus in revenue. So during this phase I work whatever the required hours are to accomplish the goal.

Then when I get to the 1 million ish mark year 2 I will work toward strict adherence to me not working in the business. With systems and better process.

However my take away from almost a decade is there is nothing like being right there doing the work. To actually create the process. Otherwise you are faking it.
