Michael Jordan is well known as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He's also known as one of the cockiest basketball players of all time. He's been known to trash-talk opposing players before big games.

However, what sets him apart is his time in the gym. While cocky outwardly, he was one of the most coach-able players in the league. He not only listened to his coaches better than any player, he implemented better. You never had to tell Jordan twice.

Most people are willing to act humble outwardly. But it's a rare skill to be inwardly humble, to know you don't have the answers and the skills that you need, and that for many things your answers may be WRONG.

How many books have you read this month?
How many hours have you put into finding amazing mentors?
How much money have you spent on QUALITY education?
How long have you studied working strategies in your field?

If your answers aren't as high as they should be, which I think should be HOURS AND HOURS a week, I don't think you're humble enough.

One day a Brazilian business owner wrote letters to the top 10 CEOs in the retail space. Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart and world's richest man (collectively), was the only CEO to respond. He flew down to Brazil and began ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS that at the end of the dinner Sam had learned more than the Brazilian. Later that trip, his Brazilian friends got a phone call from a nearby police station, telling them that they had Sam. It turns out billionaire Sam Walton had been arrested for crawling on his hands and knees in a store, measuring the distance between the isles, checking to see if the Brazilians knew something he didn't.

I haven't achieved massive wealth for myself yet, but I think I know that investing into yourself with education, and admitting that what you know may not be enough, INWARD HUMILITY, can help set the bottom line.
