A few recent likes to my introductory post caused me to want to post a quick epilogue.

1. We no longer live in Minnesota, having escaped the weather and taxes for warmer and cheaper climates

2. We'll spend some time in January on a ship, a brief window in February in Arizona, and several weeks this summer in Maui

I'm not cashed out retired yet. My paper assets are high, but I have been here before. There's a huge difference between paper assets, and cash in the bank. I am still working on a final exit event (and then I will go do it all over again).

I will now go back and read the OP, and add any additional comments from my naivety of 2011.
