The only thing LinkedIn is useful for is connecting with / messaging decision makers. Other than that, it's a bunch of people virtue signaling, pretending to love their jobs, and subtly bragging about accomplishments for likes and validation.

Totally disagree.

I get alot of work trough LinkedIn, also ideal for building a brand. I think you use LinkedIn not in the right way...maybe give it another try?

You missed the point. I said it's good for reaching out to decision makers, which is what you're doing when you find clients on LinkedIn. But for most it's a waste of time because the platform is filled with people virtue signaling and looking for validation, just like any other social media platform.
