You could ask yourself, "What can I offer that would make someone happy? What can I offer at all?" And ask for payment to fulfil it after showing the offer to those who need it.

Create value, communicate that value, and accept money in exchange for it.

That's how you start. As for "creating value" I suggest you read up on value skew.
