I'll go first:
Industry: Web development (Freelance)
Strategy: Reddit has been working for me the best till now. I usually send chat requests (my pitch + portfolio) to warm leads (leads that have shown some indication of interest in webdev services in their recent posts/comments).
For example, I'd go to /r/forhire and search for posts offering webdev services, and send a message to everyone who has commented ($bid) under that post.
I've been able to close 3 clients this way till now, it took ~50 messages to close each client so I'd say it was pretty effective for me.
The main issue with this one is that all these clients are not really high-paying (usually around $100-$500 for a website) and are looking for below market-rate services.
I'm yet to try twitter/instagram/facebook outreach, so I'd like to know what others are doing here as well.
