This series is definitely more along the lines of starting a big VC-backed company (Y combinator put this on), which I see violate Control and Time quite frequently. It's like career entrepreneurship. Although the scale is there, the goal isn't always to build a Money System.

Another thing I've been curious about is their advice for finding an idea is to essentially "scratch your own itch." Of course what this does is prove that there's a customer for it, but I don't think the idea process is that simple, nor is that a comprehensive approach.
