    Also, there are many plant-based meat/milk/fish replacements on the market, and though they do contain oil, they can help curb cravings for animal products. Add them to whole foods, and you've got a healthy, tasty dinner.

    For example, my go-to dinner is rice and mixed veggies (I get a stir-fry mix and add tons more broccoli to it) topped with some sweet and sour porkless bites (I get the Gardein brand).

    Eating more Mexican dishes (using beef-less ground protein crumbles and cheese alternative, such as Daiya cheese) will help in getting enough beans. And adding black beans to a chocolate shake is an option. Here's my favorite black bean smoothie:

    Black Bean Chocolate Smoothie

    INGREDIENTS:
    • 1 cup canned unsalted black beans, drained
    • 1 ripe banana
    • 1 frozen chopped banana
    • 2 cups unsweetened soy milk – or any other dairy-free milk
    • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
    Simply blend and you're all set. Note: This recipe can be adjusted. For example, I just dump a can of regular black beans in without draining it. Instead of a frozen banana, I just use two ripe bananas and add some ice cubes. And for the dairy-free milk, I prefer sweetened vanilla oat milk (I get the Pacific Foods brand).

    I reckon a cool business would be some kind of forced weightloss center. I.e. you sign your life away for X months, and then you're basically imprisoned in a defatifyer facility run by ex-gulag guys. And not the nice ones. The ones who miss their job.

    There you only get fed balanda and have to smash rocks all day on pain of having to share a cell with a bear. You also get weighed every day. When the scales read below your target weight, they release you.

    I'm Type 1 Diabetic. Fruit skyrockets my blood sugar. Any time I have low blood sugar, I eat candy, fruit or rice.

    Plus, I'm carb sensitive. I eat some carbs I tend to get fat. I eat very little carbs besides vegetables.(Yes they have carbs but they don't count. Most of their carbs are fiber)

    while it's true, that natural fructose from fruit will raise your blood sugar levels like industrial sugar, it's a false assumption that a basket of fruit = a basket of sweets and will make you gain weight as the latter.

    Carbs also tend to make you tired (if you eat a lot). Which is quite interesting. I can eat a lot of oatmeal + fruits and feel energetic, but yesterday we had our cheat day and ate fries with veggie burgers - boy was i tired afterwards :)

    I came across StrongLift 5x5 workout.
    In a nutshell, eat healthy foods, eat calories less than you burn. Track calories using apps. And follow StrongLift 5x5 program. I have heard that this is very effective in loosing Fat.

    Hi I did loose some weight following the advice here . However nothing big, around 1.5-2 Kgs at most . I am still working to fix my weight . I dont want to go extreme ,taking small steps daily to get myself in shape .

    Apart from gyming ,I have done following things :
    1. Eating/Drinking less sugar
    2. More running/walking every day.(I try to burn at least 100 Calories a day.)
    3. Sleeping better (8 hours with no exception)

    I want one more thing to add : I work in a Job which requires me to work in night shift(till 3 to 4 AM daily 5 days a week) . I can not leave my job due to responsibilities (though I am working on my business side by side) .I feel my night shift job also has something to do with the weight gain. However I dont fret over this as it can not be controlled for now .
    My aim is to reach 70-72 Kgs. Currently I am clocking 76-77 Kgs .

    Actually, this is a good way to go. Just make sure it's something you can hold on to once you've reached your desired weight- otherwise you'll "jo-jo" back and forth by falling back into old eating habits, dieting, old eating habits, dieting, etc.

    I got a friend who is working nightshifts too. As soon as he dropped foods high in carbs for nightshifts, he started losing weight. Even though you're physically awake, your metabolic rate is lower and your body needs less energy during nights.

    Of course, it helped them, that big of a caloric deficit will do wonders in dropping weight. But its UNHEALTHY
