Another one I posted in the AI chat discussion thread..

I had to update one of my websites. There were 12 pages that needed updated.

The platform that coded the website I canceled months ago. When I logged into the platform, it wanted me to pay for another subscription -- to update 12 pages with a simple text update!

F-that.

The alternative was that I simply open the HTML pages myself using text editor, or Visual Studio and make the changes myself.

Estimated time to finish: 1 hour.

Instead, I fired up Claude Cowork, gave it access permission to the folder, and it made the changes for me.

Time? 3 minutes... shorter than it took to write this post.

Folks, look at your monthly costs and see what AI can replace.

I'm paying $500/mo for MailerLite and I'm wondering if I can vibe-code a replacement.

I'm guessing it would take me 2-3 days of Codex or Claude to dial in something. Of course, I'd still have to pay for sending fees (Postmark, Amazon SES, or something) but the savings would likely be about $400/mo - or nearly $5,000 year!
