Hey guys, been awhile. I just wanted to get some external feedback/insight on my situation. I quit my job as a software engineer last month, decided to go all in on starting my own solo AI automation agency after watching some YouTube videos about people making insane amounts of money with this business model.
I already new n8n and power automate from my job as well as my own side projects, so that was not the issue for me. The real problem i'm having is lead gen/getting clients. I have been targeting the private healthcare niche in Singapore. I don't have a network to rely on, so I sent ~80 cold outreaches (linkedin, cold email, whatsapp). Out of that, only had 3 replies. 2 ghosted, only one I actually got on a call with, but ended up not being a fit and he said I was too expensive.
This has all been super exhausting doing everything on my own. Especially coming from an employee mindset, not a business owner mindset. I'm starting to wonder if theres something wrong, this business model still viable? And in Singapore? Should I keep going, or should I pivot to something else, like a SaaS/App or change my target niche.
