Time for an update I suppose. Feeling kind of "meh" about my updates, as it's not clear to me if or how I can provide any value to this community. But here it goes.
The academy is going well. I'm learning a ton and I have gotten to meet 1:1 with my absolute favorite dog trainer of all time.
The mini mastermind hasn't started yet. Hopefully at the end of this month. The leader/creator has been having some health issues. But I've been pressing ahead anyway.
I FINALLY got a somewhat working Google Ads campaign going for the "big" city an hour away. Since mid/late February, I've gotten around 10 leads, 3 completed consults + 4 scheduled, and 1 enrolled client + 1 more wanting to start in May (both choosing my largest program at $4k). So, I've put ~$1.2k into the Google ads so far and have gotten ~$4.3k out. If the tentative client and scheduled consults come through, it'll be closer to $8.5k coming in from the ads campaign. I know it can perform even better, but I'm still learning which metrics to look at and how to make it better. I'm currently operating at a budget of $50/day. It feels kind of risky, but I have noticed an increase in number of leads and rate of leads since making the jump. I additionally have one new client and a consult scheduled via word of mouth.
Over the last 3.5 months I've brought in just under $20k. While I'm excited to see what the rest of the year will bring, I'm also biting my fingernails looking at the depth of my debt. The dog training academy and the mini mastermind were pretty large investments, but they still feel like they'll be good investments that I'm really hoping will pay off relatively quickly.
