One of the gravest threats to chasing big goals is the well wishes of friends and family. They'll try to sabotage your goals by insisting you take the safe route - and they can do this while sincerely caring about you and sincerely wanting the best for you.

Be on your guard.

“on top of the world homesite”

Even the street name is “little profit.” Hahaha

This is cheaper than a small lot in River Oaks. When we go to St.Croix soon, I’m definitely rolling around with a realtor for a day.

I’ll split it with you, it’s 43 acres and has 4 knolltop homesites.

Probably only has shitty satellite internet though.

Come on, you couldn't live on the Little Profit street. It would have to be at least Big Profit street, if not Capitalist Pig Unreasonable Profit street.

I’ll just enjoy the irony.

Maybe there’s a lobbying opportunity though.

Sick of this lockdown bullshit.

Australia F*cking sucks balls, specifically my shit state Melbourne.

God dam insanity. Locking us down and providing ZERO support.

So, lets recap.

1. You have to lockdown again.(fourth time)

2. There is no government payments this time, as im sure, you don't need to earn a living or need money.

What countries don't have dictators running it these days?

If I sell the house I'm renovating, I'll have enough cash to go halfsies with you.

Then we can start a hippy-bohemian style resort (charge 10 times the price with 10 times less actual amenities!!!)

Plastic yurt-style tents? Lol

Great post from a Farming page on Facebook:

"Food labeling is confusing. But do not be deceived!
When orange juice says it's non-GMO, please recognize that all oranges are non-GMO. The only potential GMO products in the USA are papaya, corn, alfalfa, soybeans, cotton, potatoes, squash, canola, sugar beets, and apples.
When organic milk is labeled antibiotic free, remember that all dairy products, including milk, are always antibiotic free. Same applies to meat.
Those bananas advertised as cholesterol free? That's because all bananas are cholesterol free.
When a jar of peanuts says it is made in a plant that processes peanuts just use your common sense and roll your eyes.
When a bag of apples says it is gluten free, remember that gluten comes from wheat.
When you see a Facebook post that talks about hormones in beef, please understand that an 8oz serving of beef has 2-3 nanograms of estrogen, an 8 oz serving of white bread has 136,080 nanograms of estrogen, and 8 ounces of soy flour has 342,468,000 nanograms of estrogen. All living things produce estrogen, it's just science.
When that carton of eggs says that they came from vegetarian fed chickens, don't forget that chickens are naturally omnivores.
So yes, eat healthy, but don't be swayed by deceptive advertising. Be informed.
No farms, no food. Know your farmers, know your food."

A little bit late posting this but I was pumped to watch the Monaco F1 last weekend but only lasted about five minutes. Before the race even started there was endless political “woke” rubbish and then some thing where they all took a knee before the race.

I hardly watch sports anyway but that’s the end of that for me for another few years. Bringing politics into sports just ruins everything - it takes away from the pride of competing and the focus on winning and sportsmanship. It’s lame AF.

Same with movies - 90% of anything made in the last ten years has some kinda message that is slapped on to the storyline to serve some agenda. I used to love watching movies and now I regularly only make it 25-50% in.

Thinking ahead I’m pretty sure I’ll be homeschooling my kids and keeping them well away from popular western media/movies/tv. It’s hard to see any benefit at all and I imagine it’s going to get a lot worse in the near future.

This is random but I guess that's what the thread is for lol.

My Spanish teacher told me today than in Spain the new maximum speed limit in urban areas is now 30 km/h. That's 18 miles per hour throughout approximately 70-80% of streets of every single city, town, and any other urban area. The only exception in urban areas are four-lane roads where you can drive 50 km/h (31 mph) but these are relatively rare and even less common in smaller cities (and in other countries, the limit on these roads is at least 70 km/h).

30 km/h is so painfully slow you could probably reach similar speed on en electric scooter* lol. It's also just slightly above the limit for school zones which is usually 20 km/h (12 miles per hour).

She told me that the government is selling it as a way to save lives and protect the environment (they use more poetic words, stuff like "make cities more human and friendly") but in reality she thinks they just desperately need more cash from fines (100 euros for 31-50 km/h, 300 euros for 51 km/h, 400 euros for 61 km/h, etc.)

Spain is slowly becoming the Australia of Europe with their obsession about safety, nanny state tendencies, and an overall more and more socialist government. What a shame as the country itself is great (just like Australia).

*Edit:

LOL she just told me that there are also new regulations for electric scooters. 25 km/h is maximum velocity. You get a 200 euro fine if you're wearing headphones or using a phone while riding it. You pay 100 euros if you're riding it with another person. You can't ride it on a sidewalk or in pedestrian zones. They can also test you for alcohol and drugs.

Oh, and a helmet is obligatory. 200 euros if you don't have one.

If I needed another example why it's becoming a nanny state.

A small prediction on what will happen to commercially "woke" people:

First they were saying:
"we'll believe whatever ads will tell"

Then they said:
"we hate companies, they only want us to buy!"

Then they'll say ( prediction's here ):

"yes, we know you only want us to buy, in fact we like to buy,
basically do whatever you want but bring us products and services.
We'll even buy in bulk. We promise!"

Let's wear tinfoil hat for a moment:

its a multinational plot against four-wheeled vehicles created by top-secret unit of Lime (in collaboration with Tesla b/c there are no internal combustion scooters).
Also, Spain is a small test bed, before taking it global.

The idea is probably to make driving so inconvenient through rules and regulations that more people will walk or ride their bikes.

Pretty obnoxious and underhanded way to do it, IMO

I refuse to sit at red lights at intersections where I can clearly see there are zero other cars. I feel ever so slightly liberated every time I run one.

Roundabouts man.
Pretty effective, at least for small intersections.

I reduced my daily caffeine intake from 500+ mg to <150 mg and my ability to focus has increased dramatically. I also keep my smartphone in another room most of the day, which also helps dramatically.

Caffeine abuse is definitely a thing and you should be mindful of how much caffeine you consume because it will mess with you.

I'd do this if I didn't see cameras on every F*cking traffic light.

Does anyone know if you can put stickers on your license plate that mess with cameras but wouldn't seem suspicious to the fuzz?

Disney knows when you stop watching their series on Disney+.

They put a subtle woke message in the TV show Falcon and Winter Soldier. Directly after it happened, I think more than half of people turned their TV off.

The silent majority is fed up. People start to speak.

This woke insanity will not last.

I'd give it 5 years top.

For myself, I'm stuck to following the red lights.

I did something similar a while ago, but cut it right down to 30mg per day ( a pot of decaf coffee in the morning). The biggest different was in my ability to sleep - I went from waking up at 3am / struggling to fall asleep to sleeping 8 hours nearly every night.

I bought two amazing logos from fiverr. They were delivered 4 hours after payment, and I only paid 10 euros.

It's a steal really.

In Vietnam no one was following any lights and there was a constant stream of motorcycles. So you had but not choice to cross slowly so they could see you and avoid you.

No need to put on a tinfoil hat. Spain is broke. They have the worst debt-to-GDP ratio since 1902 and it continues climbing:

View attachment 38240

source: La deuda pública en España no para de crecer y se sitúa en máximos de 118 años tras superar el 117% del PIB

Weird, when you consider that their balance of trade is actually positive.

Sales are really picking up. Another biz is dropshipping my product and had 5 sales last night.
Absolutely fantastic, the problem is I can't keep up with shipping!

Also, their shipping is only $10 through Shopify for my product but when I ship it, it's usually over $20?!?
