For me, I’ve switched my routine already, but I still seem to build muscle.

I’ve been inconsistent but still getting stronger a building more muscle.

(I need to become more consistent because of school)

No matter what, I just seem to build muscle, when I go for bodybuilding, I still gain endurance and stamina.

Its weird, I might have some crazy genetics but it’s been a mystery about me.

Well month of September, was a disappointment.

An absolute disaster.

I can’t beat myself up over it though, it has already passed and the only thing I can do is change the future.

Why is drinking water taking priority over business?

Business: Write a to-do list before bed each night of the 1-3 crucial tasks to advance in business.

Diet: eat the same healthy meals for breakfast and lunch everyday. If you bring that healthy lunch with you to school you’ll be forced to eat it. Eat what your mom makes for dinner and snacking is fine.

Gym: set the goal to hit full body 3x a week and you can throw some extra days in there if you really want to workout more

Sleep: be in bed by 11, don’t over stress it

Doing these won’t take much time and effort but they are the things that really matter. With the rest of your time, just have fun

Thanks @perchboy for this guide.

The boy could also just spare time and do a little more reading.

Since it seems his business is getting held up too long.

Reading would do him a lot good too. He may leverage the knowledge to business in future.

Its not, just felt it would be nice to track to see how I overcame my dehydration issues..

I do that, just I’ve been to a ton of parties lately, now it’s going to drop hopefully, but that’s not an excuse..

I’ll use that business tip, thank you

I will atleast try to hit the gym 3x a week.

For sleep, I have to be up by 6 am.

I will try to be in bed by 8:30 pm the night before, or atleast ready for bed.

Will do! Thank you perchboy.

Enjoy life
I saw this as your goal for 2026 goal. You need to enjoy life now, not in three years. I've enjoyed every step of the way and continue to do so.

Here's a story. I made a goal to be somewhat good at chess. I had a specific Elo target - and I reached it. I got there and had a sinking feeling that I had focused on the goal so much I forgot to enjoy the process. It would have been far more enjoyable, too, if I loved the process, not the result.

The goals you set for completing by the end of December need to be done in the next two weeks or less for you to make $1,000,000. Go, go, go. Quick.

This has to be upped drastically if you want to make it headway. One time per week will get you to being a strong man when you're in your 90's.

Remember, consistency is the game. I know people who have jumped in and out of the gym, and they're built like they've only been going for a month.

Progression, as @perchboy says, can be 3x a week for something like push and pull legs. But if you want to see substantial growth, I highly recommend 5-6x a week. It's a lot of time, but I'm faster, sharper and more robust than most of my peers. The time I spend gives me returns tenfold in all aspects of my life.

Message me if you want more personalised advice. I've correctly helped three people get into the gym & I'm always looking for people to help.

I have been raising it up to 5x, that’s the goal for this month.

Just with school, I dropped it back down, but now I’m raising it again.

And I have been enjoying life, now that I think about it, I’m unsure as to why I put it there..

I will dm you later today, for now I got class to attend but thank you for your time it will help a lot.

End of day today.

I had put ~60 letters on peoples car, I think I will get a call as someone was right outside their car when they got in and saw my letter, she looked happy and I might get a call.

I had set up an email, got my business front up.

I didn’t go to the gym today, as I couldn’t get a ride, I might start ubering.

But, thank you to my sister, as she comes on these walks with me and helps me hand things out, hold things and just keeps me entertained.

Thank you to everyone else, especially @Spenny, @Isaac Odongo, @perchboy.

You’ve helped me a ton, I know I haven’t made much progress, disappointing a ton of you, but I will eventually make it out of my tunnel.

Until then…

No matter what, I just seem to build muscle, when I go for bodybuilding, I still gain endurance and stamina.

Its weird, I might have some crazy genetics but it’s been a mystery about me.

Being a teenager is a cheat code when it comes to bodybuilding. At your age and training level, your program and diet could be absolute dog shit and you would still make gains.

Make sure to GO. 3x a week is good for now. Don't skip workouts. The only reason not to go is if you're very sick. Even if you are hurt, work out other body parts that don't hurt. If you break your arm, train legs. If you break your leg, train arms. No excuses. If you absolutely positively cannot go to the gym that day, do a calisthenics workout. Push-ups, split squats, pull ups if you can. Do SOMETHING. You must not skip workouts.

The absolute most important thing about the novice phase in bodybuilding is building the habit. Nothing is more important than that. You don't have to worry too much about program design or diet. Just eat more and work out. But if you build consistency in this habit, you will be in shape for your entire life. Think about that.

You'll be a fit high school kid. Good looking, liked by girls, respected by guys. That sounds pretty good. Then you'll be fit in your 20s. Some of your friends will let themselves go as adults. This is because the habit was never theirs: it was demanded of them by the context they were living in. You, on the other hand, made it a mission.

By committing to never skipping a workout, the things that usually stall other people's health plan will not derail you. 30s, 40s, on and on, you will stay in shape.

You'll get hurt and you'll work out anyway. You'll get surgery and you'll work out anyway. People around you will get older, sicker, fatter, and more brittle. You, on the other hand, will continue to be in shape.

All of this hinges on a decision you make as a teenager to never stop working out, no matter what.

Right now I'm in the best shape I've ever been at 30. I wish I was this in shape in my teens and 20s. I had a habit of skipping workouts and taking long extended breaks. You, on the other hand, have the opportunity to have the body that other people only dream of. You can have it young. You can have it for life.

But you can only have it if you don't skip workouts.

After 1 year in the gym I had the progress of one month.

I’d go hard 3 days in a row and then take a day off. Then I’d go hard for a week and take a month off.

The same thing went for my bulking. I’d eat 4000 one day and the next days 1500.

For the past month I have eaten my 3500 calories every single day and have hit the gym at least 3x per week. I have seen more results this month than the past year.

Just make things have less friction towards doing them so you can ease in to it. No “going all out” starting tomorrow. You’re not a superhero who changes overnight. Build the habit and stay consistent.

When I became consistent to at least 3x a week, I began seeing change.

But it has now slowed down. Wondering whether to add more days.

I do home workout without equipment.

Hope to buy some equipment by end of year.

Thank you everyone for the advice.

I know consistency is key, trust me, before school, I used to go 3x-5x a week.

Just now with school, homework, sleep, I hardly have time to myself.

I go to school at 7:30, and get home around 4:20.

After an hour and a half of driving throughout the day, I get to the gym at 4:45-4:50, leave around 6:05, come home, eat dinner, maybe go hand out some cards, get back around 7:15 ish, then I get ready for bed, And mediate for 10-20 minutes IF I COULD.

I wouldn’t have much time to clean cars, and I don’t have time to hangout with my pets.

Hopefully, I can fix this, but if not I may need to buy my own at home gym equipment.

I will try my best to be more consistent though.

Until then..

-John

Find clients online throughout the week and book all the jobs on weekends

THE MOST Upsetting Thing Just Happened.

Now, you might wonder why I’m so upset.

Picture this, you check your phone during lunch break at school, and notice you have a missed call.

It could be your first ever client.

You look at the phone number and it’s your area code!

You get so excited!

Lunch break ends, and your already imagining the conversation.

You imagine you absolutely crush it.

The end of the day, you get out of school and hurry to call them back.

Your waiting, and it picks up and the second beep.

And it’s a Chinese person rambling.

I got so excited and it had just ruined my day.

Does anyone know how to block spam callers? It would be nice.

AAA, Adjusting.

After long thinking and a talk with my mom.

I decided, that it’s not my marketing, not my effort.

It’s the area I’m in.

All my neighbors are frugal, old people who would rather do the job themselves.

I will go to a different neighborhood near by, where quite the opposite, it’s filled with young guys and women who enjoy getting services done for a fee.

On Friday, since I get the day off, I will go to that neighborhood, with around 150 papers and a dream.

I will door knock, put in mail, put on cars, do whatever it takes to get my first client.

It’s just another rhythm of acting, assessing, and adjusting.

Will come back with a report on Friday to tell you guys how it went.

Until then..

-John

This sounds like a cope.

Every market and area is going to have problems. The young guys and women won't have as much money to spend, a lot of them may not even have cars, they might be more annoying to deal with, etc.

Why not shift your thinking from "this area sucks" to "I need to be better?" Have you really done EVERYTHING to maximize your efforts?

Awesome - you're learning so much at a young age, the compounding effects will be INSANE!

The guy also knows how to stick around.

We guys who are starting have got be able to stick around permanently.

Something will eventually click and we will be rewarded by the market.

And this boy is displaying that I don't give a F*ck I am gonna just keep doing something till the door opens up.

The ability to stick around enough.

here’s another way to think about it.

I’m just attempting to scale.

I’m expanding my niche from one neighbourhood area to a few neighbourhoods. I’m also testing what age rage I should be targeting.

I feel, the younger people,(that neighborhood is a lot richer, I forgot to clarify that) would care more about status or just more into having a clean car.

I’ve legit gone out when it was dark out to just put things on peoples car.

I’ve already handed out around 200 ish cards across this biz and lawn mowing. I’ve gotten 1 call, of which she wanted the job for free.

Another thing: a few of those younger people are also entrepreneurs. I feel they might notice my effort and even just get their car washed because I’m attempting something at such a young age

 I want to challenge myself because I need to know if I’m fit to be a entrepreneur.

This is a way I could work on all my skills.

This is my stepping stone to becoming free.

This is my stepping stone to adding value to others life.

I never want to retire from business, it excites and amazes me so much.

Until then..

-John

Just to clarify.

Your effort at what you do shows it. Your mind is not at rest till you solve a problem or find a way out of it.

I think that makes you an entrepreneur.

Fair point - just keep in mind that most people will suffer from "the grass is greener on the other side" mentality and hop off too early. When in reality, the grass is greener where you water it

The compounding effect takes TIME to kick in, so try not to short-circuit it by hopping in and out of markets. Stick it out for a few months and then make a decision.

The only reason why I'm saying this is because I was guilty of switching markets for the entire year. When I started my agency, I switched niches so many times and I ended up having to start from scratch to learn new markets over and over again.

Now that I'm finally settled on helping one niche solve one problem with one solution, the snowball is finally starting to roll. My UVP is forming and as a result, the $$$$$ will follow.

Don't take this the wrong way - you are KILLING IT right now. I can't even remember what I was doing at 13-14 (probably glued to Runescape). I'll be following your progress closely, I'm rooting for you!

she wanted the job for free.
Ask for a video testimonial in return that you can put on your website and use for ads

Thank you luminis, it means alot!

I’m currently in the gym for the second time this week, 2time in a row, even after a gruesome day of school and temperatures at 27 c + humidity.

I’m noticing I’m alot happier, projecting smiles onto other people with my warm energy.

I cannot thank everyone here anymore, you guys all made such an impact on my trajectory, I will end up in a completely different spot, even if you said one sentence.

Thank you all and I will succeed.

Until then..

Instead of putting time into doing free work put all your time into getting paid clients. Number one priority right now is generating revenue. If you need a testimonial I’ll get my mom to make one for you

Well, I have tomorrow marked in my calender.

I spent about 15 minutes downstairs cutting cards, and folding 75 more cards.

I’m going to go to the gym tomorrow early in the morning.

I will leave tomorrow to head off to the neighborhood at around 1-1:30, that way it gives people time to sleep in (might do it later)

Im planning on coming back around 3-4 the longest I’ve ever been out door knocking and stuff.

I might take a lunch break in between that.

Im excited to say, today was a good day!

D2D conversions will be 100x higher than leaving cards. I’ve done both before.

Knock on doors and if they don’t answer leave a card in the mailbox. Best of both worlds.

I’ll be doing d2d, door knocking, mailboxes, flyers on cars all combined. That way I can remain effective within a short timeframe and get my name out there in the most mediums possible.

Special Day:

Left at 1:15

Arrived at 1:25

Left at 2:15 For a break and because it may rain

(20 doors, 1 said no, 2 were interested in card,17 weren’t home, 1 bypasser was interested, 17 cars) TOTAL: 38 Cards handed out.

EDIT: Not going to continue today, friend is over.

Planning on finishing by tomorrow.

WILL UPDATE AT END OF DAY
