Hello Fastlane Forum Community,
I’m Wersin Aziz, and I’d like to share my journey with you.
Early Life:
I was born in Iraq and lived there until I was 13. Due to the Saddam war, my family and I fled to the Netherlands.
New Beginnings:
Adjusting to life in the Netherlands was challenging. I had to learn Dutch and adapt to a new culture. Despite the hurdles, I pursued my education and completed my high school (HBO) studies in online marketing.
Facing Scams:
My entrepreneurial journey began on a rocky path. I lost €15,000 to various so-called "gurus" who promised success but delivered none. This experience made me wary of business books and advice.
A New Chapter in the UAE:
My family and I relocated to the UAE. I frequently travel back to the Netherlands and Iraq, which is now more stable.
Discovering MJ DeMarco:
After losing trust in many business mentors, a friend recommended "The Millionaire Fastlane " by MJ DeMarco. Skeptical at first, I found the book mind-changing. I quickly read all three of MJ's books from June to November 2023. These books gave me the clarity and direction I needed.
Transformation:
Applying the principles from MJ's books over the past six months has transformed my approach to entrepreneurship. I developed new habits, learned website creation, video editing, and leveraged my marketing skills to establish a marketing consulting business.
Active Participation:
Although I've been a member of the Fastlane Forum for nearly a year, I haven’t been active. Moving forward, I aim to contribute regularly and build my international network.
Continuous Growth:
At 27, I’m committed to continuous learning and growth. I am grateful to God (Allah SWT) and @MJ DeMarco for guiding me on this journey.
