Hello everyone, I've taken a bit of a hiatus. Reason, I sat back and learned. Read countless articles, blogs and books. From finding niches to SEO, I've done quite a bit since I've been gone. But all this is besides the point, I bring to you....my new start-up. Well eventual start-up currently raising money and gauging needs. What is it you may ask, well it is NOT a body shop but it is going to be a lead gen site for them. I will go into more detail later on.

So what have I been up to recently besides learning. I've started buying stuff on craigslist and selling on amazon. Started with a $15 investment and I am currently up to $50 from a few items. I am doing this to raise the money needed to have the site built. I'm a college student and broke lol. Projected launch date of the website...end of January. Gives me time to raise the money for it and finishing getting other things ready for it.

Other things I have done, market analysis of the competition, found out a few things. One, there is not many competitors. Not 100% why but just there being competitors mean that there is a need. Two, those competitors, aren't great with customer service nor with getting traffic OR with SEO. They have the basic SEO down but that's it and are mainly after short-tail keywords. I also found that one of them..completely copied the other just added an app and engaged in some social marketing.

So that's I've been up to so far, I did some cold-calling today to gauge interest as well and actually have 3 (possible 4) interested just out of the 10 I called. Will be doing more later and will also be asking the general public if they would be interested in using this site. As far as what the business is and the details, well they will come at a later date. Probably once I get some more things figured out with marketing/keywords/SEO/possible blogs to expert in etc. Well, that's all for today. I hope everyone enjoys the post and maybe will learn something through the process I am about to embark on, and I must say. I am pretty nervous.
