Progress Thread: Prior Authorization Automation for Small Specialty Practices

Background: I have a background in DoD program delivery and enterprise consulting. My fiancée is a physician which gives me direct access to the market and a deep understanding of the problem.


The problem I'm solving: prior authorization is one of the most painful administrative burdens in small specialty practices. Orthopedics, cardiology, similar high-volume specialties. It's manual, slow, and eats into physician time and revenue. I'm building a service to automate it.


What I've done so far:

• 2 discovery calls with physicians in my personal network confirming the pain is real
• 65 LinkedIn outreach messages to prior auth coordinators and practice managers for additional validation

What I'm doing this week:

• Booking 3 discovery calls with warm leads via my network
• Reporting back here Monday with results

I'm using this thread as a public commitment device. I have the background, the network access, and the validated problem. The only thing between me and my first paying customer is executing the conversations.
