This may have been the biggest mindset shift from reading the TMF . I used to be that guy....
"well if i just move money from here to here to there I could afford that and yada yada"
"well I am getting paid in X days so I can make it happen"
read the book and now have capital saved up, and I can also see from a different perspective of the hperconsumerism culture we live in. Spending is very applauded. Like looking at it through a new lens. From a young age I have been working, and thus having coin in my pocket. But only recently have I put serious effort into accumulating it and saving it. I have also learned to just be 20 at times. The journey will happen quickly, but it won't be easy. I also recently read the millionaire next door, which in many ways contradicts TMF , but it is definitely a must read.
Mj has somewhat become my conscious when spending. Or when placed into a position to spend frivolously. Like a coach.
