Hi all, hi MJ,
I was on and off on this forum. To be honest I am not regular, more was reading previous year.
I am IT professional, 54 years old, not so much operational any more, but managerial role.
I was DB admin for quote some time, maybe about 8-10 years and then last 11 head of support department.
Few years ago, I was taking a part as PM into some project for friend of developing her trading platform.
Project failed as some core people has not been so capable, and she was not financier of the project.
She had some control, but she was not good in operations either.
They cut me off first, as I was challenging some decisions and after they cut her off too.
Did not do any side thin for next few years, until last 15 month I would say.
First wanted to start some OBM business, took some certificate, but found out that it is hard to get the clients I want.
Started to write posts on X, but really, wasn't sure that my clients been there.
Skipped LInkedIn as I am employed and did not want to expose myself there.
I started to think into another direction. As I was building few teams and together with them procedures and business system,
and I liked Systemology, started to research that side.
Found that there are not too many systemologist in UK, in a small businesses.
Also, know a few people who has some small businesses, but they are burned out, as they don't have good processes and business systems.
I registered company and started to post on LinkedIn and recently on Facebook as a company.
Started to read more marketing staff, connected some CRM with PM tool for myself.
Use AI to build marketing material, marketing videos,..
Also started to build small survey application with replit,
to make some kind of self-evaluating tool for small business owner to see if their business is owner-independent.
Promoting help for small businesses, introducing business systems, processes, some automation if needed.
But still don't have customers.
Not losing my hope, maybe my hooks are not good, maybe need to go more in live and speak with people.
I know there is a lot to learn to build business, regarding sales and marketing skills.
I feel I have a lot to offer, in the area of building teams, organizing things, systems.
People don't think in that direction, some of them are not even aware of critical client flow,
CRM's, PM tools, how to connect everything, how to make their life easier.
Not sure how I can productize it later, probably through trainings, workshops, some ebook.
I am not sure if I suppose to write something more,... but here I am in some beginning execution phases.
