My Intro.. From Wales.

Hey,

Just want to make a quick introduction,

Im 24 from Wales, U.K & have been online for around 10 years, Which has been a huge rollercoaster which has involved UPs (during the SEO days of 10k+ months) to lows working for £800 a month.

After the SEO updates I basically give up on internet marketing and went into a sales job, but I cannot stay away, around 2 year ago I got stuck in with Media Buying, started making some waves in the AM industry & consulting for some big players. Currently consulting & acting as marketing manager for one of the biggest affiliate teams in Europe spending millions every month on online advertising (Pop traffic, Adwords, Native, GDN) I do love my job and I dont want to leave just yet, simply because its not like a job, i have a ton of freedom, no one tells me what to do & I work from home.

But I do know that this will be my last ever Job - but in order for that to happen I know I need to start building something now, the issue i have is i dont know what to start selling/building/working on.

Which Is why im here, maybe you guys can help me with that?

I've had a couple of jobs like that, working in teams with millions in monthly spend. Great learning experience, and you get to see soooo much data. Not a bad gig to be in while you learn how to build a business that makes use of your skills and experience.

Yes, It is great for picking up new things and I work very closely with the owners which allows me to watch how they create new products & just their general day to day tasks.

I havent yet read the book, but I have just ordered it. I tend to get distracted reading E-books so am just about to order the "real thing" now. Although I will start the first 3 chapters while I wait.

Yep - I stuck it out for a year, managed to hit one of the top 10 in the country (Over 500) then took up a media buying position which I then got promoted.
