Introduction
Business UpdateLet me start by saying that I was a premium member of the Fastlane forum, so technically this post belongs in the upgraded version under the "Execution" category. I stopped paying for Fastlane to reinvest all my money into my startup. If you were accessing the premium version, my thread would be titled "Building a $1 Billion Company," but I digress.
Current and Revamped Marketing StrategyI stepped away for about six months to a year to deal with some life challenges while trying to build this business in the desert. I recently launched the business and made my first sale, not to mention it was a 301% profit! It cost me $32 to acquire a client and make a little over $100 per sale (minimum) as of right now. I recently built the framework for a marketing system and have a new partner who will work with me to execute part of my marketing strategy.
The current marketing strategy is very lean, using Google Ads to send traffic to a website and hopefully convert them.
To improve conversions, I've revamped the marketing system to a three-stage model: Attract, Convert, Retain. The current attraction system uses Google Ads. The conversion system uses a low-cost lead magnet to separate those who want free information from those willing to pay for what they really want. The conversion system will use the low-cost product or the free lead magnet to convert them using a multi-step email sequence. Finally, I have a retention target of 2% or less for returns.
