I have a website where a lot of dog owners gather. Now I am monetizing it with advertisements but I know I could make a much bigger product by adding an e commerce page to my website. I have been researching and looking for products that I could sell but it was hard for me to find the high margin ones... can you please shoot some ideas at me? Thanks!

Just call me an old softie, but I have a positive suggestion: You say it was hard to find the high margin ones, which suggests that you have found low margin ones. Turn those into high margin ones by buying direct from the manufacturers.

You will have little chance of getting local manufacturers to supply you direct and they will require you to buy through a distributor, so you are back to low margin. The answer is to buy those low margin products direct from overseas manufacturers. They could not care less who you are and whether or not you have a reseller's license etc. etc. etc.

You can probably source some poop bags off of Alibaba

And you could get a license from Cesar Millan to put his name & face on those poop bags and
sell them for double the price of ordinary bags.
