Actually if you look at the research, statistically people with really high net worth are more likely to drive modest cars and live in modest homes.

High net worth and modest are both relative.

The people I know that make me look poor tend to drive nice cars like Lexus and Mercedes. The bigger ones, not the cheesy entry ones that the 30k millionaires fight over. They also live in $2-10m homes in the elite neighborhoods. A lot of times that is not their only home either. They send each kid to 30k per year private school. They don’t really peacock because everyone around them is also rich.

Mate of mine had a Lambo and some nice Audi, I forget which. Said it was quite stressful, he would always be worrying about it when he parked up and ended up hardly taking it out because of that. Also said it was harder (more expensive) to keep than to get into a Lambo.

Anyway, he now drives some clapped out hatchback and loves it.

Not super relevant, just wanted to comment like the cool kids.

Jets are investments in your business, I think they are way better than a flashy car. Speaking of cost... A VLJ like a CJ1 or Beech Premier including financing and without a flight department, assuming you fly it yourself... About $400k a year minimum.

In my opinion, the bigger the Jet, the bigger the write off. Give me the 4-5m dollar a year Gulfstream and 65 million of up front bonus depreciation.

Yes definitely an investment like how Grant Cardone uses it.

Factor in not having to deal with the headache of airports, checkpoints, and delays... it ends up being a no brainer when you're at that level.

Maybe in real life meeting people who own a Lambo could help you connect with people thinking on a higher level (some of the time) but to use this as the only measurement of who to listen to about success is dangerous.

Marketers know that a Lambo adds authority so some people you should NOT be listening to are going to get one just for that reason. The fact you respect this car so much is the very reason so many scammers are going to be flaunting theirs.

It sucks cause lots of genuine really cool people (like MJ and Andy Frisella) have/had Lambos but many other not so trustworthy people do also.

If you want to START with looking at people who drive supercars BUT ALSO have an additional standard that would work much better...

"Has a Lambo AND has built a seven-figure separate to what he is selling me on" for example.

This would leave good influences on your list and remove your classic 26-year-old IG guru.

Keep the Lambo list if you want BUT add some other criteria. Otherwise, you are in for big trouble.

Also, @G_Alexander on this very forum is under 30 and has owned more than one Lambo. He has documented most of his journey on here. Go start with reading his threads and taking notes.

I casted a wide net in the ocean and made a list of Lambo & Bentley
I was keeping my eyes on Whale People, not fish people.
Even though I admit I am the Fish in the ocean
I was not judging average fish people
I was studying Lambo Whale People

The List I made, it was main purpose is to research & study about Lambo people
That's it
Plain & Simple

If I want a lambo for myself, I will take lambo advice from who already have lambo in their disposal = It makes sense
If I approach a Person who has Honda Civic, and start asking advice about Lambo = It does not make sense

You're still missing the entire point here. Your presumption is flawed.

You are basing your entire "study" on the assumption that Lamborghini Owner = Qualified Instructor. This is a false assumption. There is no correlation.

You are trying to build a list of people who are worth listening taking advice from on how to be successful and wealthy. You need a better metric than the car they drive, because the barrier to owning a Lamborghini (which, by the way, you don't even know if they own, lease, or rent these cars for their videos) is laughably low.

Your metric should instead be, as others have said, people who have built 8-figure-or-higher businesses. At the very, very least, it should be a net worth minimum.

I don't know... I've made three major purchases through ad clicks here (payroll, insurance, and an awesome band saw). I try to contribute as best i can, usually by pointing people to more knowledgeable posters. I've initiate the purchase of web design from a contributor here, and my finger has been hovering over "become an insider" all week, but I think I'm going to take a fastlane forum break for a bit.

I'm not leaving here with a smile on my face as often as I used to.

A "single misstep" is a daily occurance for entrepreneurs. Fragile egos and the easily offended are best suited for jobs, not entrepreneurship.

If the OP continues to believe that "Lambo ownership" is the litmus test for valid life advice, he's in for a rough time, one that will cost him $1000s. And this is coming from a guy who owned Lambos and wrote a book with a stupid Lambo on the cover of his debut book ... a design move I quickly squashed.

We're not interested in pounding our chests with righteousness, we're interested in saving someone from costly mistakes. He's made other posts on the forum so I believe there is good hope for the gentleman.

But all jokes aside, I get what he's saying. He only want to listen to people who have attained financial success, but said it in a very awkward and tacky way. I have been around with Self Help/Self-Improvement/Personal Development Industry for a while.
It's all good but at the same time it is exhausting like which people shall I listen to for advice
So many people are there but there was no list to narrow down manually.
When there is no structure & framework in life, it becomes chaos and ended up frustrating.

There aren't very many people you need to listen to, to be honest.

Billionaires have written books about their stories and their takeaways from their lives. There's only a few 'get rich' books that you'll ever need to read, two of them were written by the owner of this forum. Self help is largely a waste of time as it's your constant, concerted action and willingness to take intelligent risks that will get you results. MJ wrote two whole books about it; you don't need more.

You can stop buying 'self help' courses if you want to. But you won't want to because maybe, just maybe, there's a secret in something that a Lambo owner will say that will help you. You're looking for the next person to listen to. Stop doing that.
