Major Update!!
Last night I went to class like usual - 30 minutes early to drill, followed by fundamentals, followed by kickboxing.
Before kickboxing class, the MMA coach approached and asked if I still want to fight.
He asked my age and walking weight.
Then he said he thinks he has a fight for me in February!!
I don't have an official contract yet, but after I compete tomorrow, I'll lock in as if I have a fight.
The next fights are in January, so this would be the event after that.
The next fight camp starts next week.
My 39th birthday is in February, so it's a fitting time for a fight.
What's really exciting is coach wouldn't set this up if he didn't feel I'm ready (or will be ready) to fight by then.
Anyway, this is what the entire thread has built toward for over a year now!
