Great advice.Start your Shopify stores that sell products via Facebook ads. Build a business that distributes products through FBA. Use Google Ads to promote your service. But don't forget the game you're playing.
There is a major factor that many can't seem to get their head around, and that is the need for big margins.
It is so tempting for many to take a short-sighted look at products that offer a reasonable margin at first, but gradually they find that margins are eroded. This is not always due to competition. It can be because they paid too much for the product in the first place, forgetting that over time, costs increase.
Freight costs go up regularly, both international and for local delivery. Advertising costs creep up. Fulfillment costs go up because they are storing too much for too long.
And yes, "don't forget the game your playing." as @The-J said. If the big boys decide that fees should go up - they go up.
Make sure you really are buying at the best price possible. Thanks to the trade war, in China it is becoming more of a buyer's market, with competition between suppliers being fierce. Compare, compare, compare.
